Ik was blij met It was a really quiet site with a river running down the side. It was really dark so take a torch for late night toilet visits.

Van de manager: We are really disappointed that you were not 100% happy staying on our site, which is surprising really, as 99% of people have said they do enjoy it. You would recommend to friends, but wouldn't stay again yourselves, that's a bit odd!

There are 3 toilets, 2 showers and 2 urinals. I was not aware that the horsebox shower/toilet was locked, it was only a case of turning a knob to open it or coming to tell us and we would have opened it straight away. As for cleanliness, I am offended by that, we pride ourselves in its cleanliness and 100% of all reviews say how clean the facilities are and how great the showers are. As for you saying we have poor customer services, I'm also offended by that, as I was there to greet you on arrival, we had a nice chat, I showed you where everything was etc. but you didn't say what I did wrong?
As for the river, you obviously don't know about Spate rivers - they rise and fall very quickly with the amount of rainfall - it will be very shallow and a beach is revealed as in the photos in dry weather, but when there is a lot of rain, like there has been this week when you stayed, the river fills up and the beach goes. We cannot do anything about Nature I'm afraid; besides, it is now Autumn, and we get a lo of rain, it is Wales after all. However, it has been a fantastic summer, very dry and the river had been at its lowest for more than a decade this year, and our campers have enjoyed the low river and its beach for swimming and messing about.
As for location/value for money/facilities, you will have seen all this on PitchUp when you booked, I'm wondering why you booked at all, then saw fit to complain after you paid the money, but location..... did you not look on a map to see where we were? (its a fantastic location) yet you still booked????
Thank you for the poor review, maybe you should read the information on sites and communicate with the site owners, you might have a nicer time and will not be disappointed with your stay.

Ik was blij met Lovely little quiet site clean and tidy a warm welcome by very helpful owners. Near to most seaside locations of mid Wales and Devils bridge.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing I could dislike even the weather was the best!

Ik was blij met Lovely peaceful place, took our 3 year old Grandson very clean nice river you could sit for hours

Ik was blij met A beautiful well maintained campsite. With all needs covered. It has pitches for tents, motor homes and vans. With picnic benches scattered around. A couple of toilets and showers. A unexpected horsebox conversion too. A wash area with hot running water and a refrigerator. Also a lovely communal firepit area.
We used it to visit Devils bridge falls, Hafod estate, Bwlch nant yr arian, and Aberystwyth, all close enough by vehicle.

Sadly your review comes with a sting in it's tail ! You gave us a 1/10 for Customer Services, I am sorry, but we cannot accept that, we bend over backwards for our guests and do all we can to make their, and your stay a lovely one, we are on hand most of the time and always there to help and advise when asked. We are very upset and insulted with your appalling rating of our Customer Services, it is very unfair of you - It would be nice if you could tell us what was so bad about it?

With regards to the facilities, we actually have 3 toilets and 2 urinals for the men.

You also only gave us a 1/10 for location, if our location was so bad and not to your liking then I have to ask, why did you book????? After all, you booked well in advance to have been able to research our location and to decide if it was for you. It is your opinion on our location, our location cannot change, it suits 99.9% of all the guests we have had for the last 6 seasons its the reason they come. Do you not look at maps?

As for WiFi, we have a very good mobile phone signal here, and WiFi is very good from the site WiFi if you need it, you cannot miss lead people and give misinformation/untruths, it is a bit naughty of you.

Ik was blij met Lovely friendly site. Couple who own site very welcoming and showed us where everything was, and couldn't do enough for us. Will sure to stay again.
