Friels Bar and Restaurant

Ik was blij met A great combination of a good campsite and great pub. Cannot recommend this place enough, food was outstanding, guinness was great too!

Ik was blij met Fantastic food and staff were so friendly.
Stayed overnight with EHU on flat gravelled pitch. Excellent clean toilet and warm showers . Great value at £20 per night although an extra £ 2 for the shower.
Highly recommend and the bonus of live trad Irish music in the bar means I'll be stopping here again 👍

Ik was blij met It has toilets, shower (2pound extra charge) electric pug up and water. Food in the restaurant was delicious honestly 10 star for the restaurant

Ik was niet blij met They don’t accept euro, there is only one pub and one restaurant in the wee town so if you go on a weekend it will be packed! it’s very hard to order a take away. As well I am Italian and the locals where looking at me like I had 3 heads didn’t like that, made me feel very uncomfortable!

Thanks for the 10 for our Restaurant and pleased to learn you thought your food was delicious.
Apologies that Euros were not accepted as we do take Euros. You must have had a junior member of staff.
I have informed all front of house staff that we take Euro notes today.
If you look at our other reviews our locals are very friendly to our Motorhome guests so not sure what happened on your visit.
I do feel a rating of 4 on a public platform is very harsh on my business when you have our Restaurant a 10.

Ik was blij met Der Platz ist sehr gepflegt. Ausreichend Platz - auch für große Wohnmobile.
Wir konnten im Restaurant gut essen. Der Pub ist gemütlich. Am Samstsgabend gab es tolle Livemusik.

Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und um Feedback bemüht.

Ik was blij met Absolutely excellent, pitched spacious clean and modern, toilet and showers spotless clean, beautiful local drives, bar just 1st class, food is exceptional,
Our miniature dachshund GINO was very well looked after by a gentleman who spoke fondly off his boxer dog & happened to be a staff member such kindness and nothing was an issue. We didn’t have reservations however the staff ensured we get a table to eat. I do recommend booking a table in advance as it is a busy wee spot. Such personal touches though out this place it’s breathtaking, a lot of blood, sweat and tears went into the detail & craftsmanship can be seen in every nook and cranny of this little gem, The magic really lies in those hidden corners, seamless transitions, and thoughtful touches that elevate the entire established, to the current owner your forefathers would be extremely proud of the history you have upheld it’s a credit to u and your team. We will definitely be back.

Ik was blij met Everything was excellent at this park, there was plenty of space with level gravel pitches , both electric hook up and a water tap close by at every pitch, the facilities where in excellent order, very clean and tidy.
The staff were more than helpful and made you feel very welcome, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was just as good, the area is very centralised and within a short drive of various places to visit
I would highly recommend Friels for a stay and at £20 a night you can't go wrong

Ik was blij met Fabulous motorhome park up. Clean and tidy. Wonderful showers and loos. Amazing value for money.
Ate in the restaurant. Yummy roast beef dinner and fantastic mango cheesecake. Dermot Friel and his family are the 4/5th generation owners and gave us loads of personal info. He was great. Do not miss this place!!!
