Ruby's Retreat

Ik was blij met Pristine condition, everything was spotless and clean. We had our own fenced off area for the dog. Fire wood and fire lighters etc included in the price. The hot tub was a jacuzzi tub not a wood burner. There was a heater and a fan available depending on the temperature. We had our own private bathroom and shower inside the hut and the shower was incredible! There were stunning views over the countryside.

Ik was niet blij met The only thing I would say is the fence is a bit low so might be an issue if you had a larger dog but not a problem for us!

Ik was blij met Wanted a glamping stay for my partners birthday and this was perfect! A lovely 2night break the accommodation has everything you need and was spotless, huts are very well situated and feel very private. Perfect way to spend a weekend.

Ik was blij met Just returned from a 2 night stay at Ruby’s Retreat. The accommodation is lovely clean, and well equipped, (great shower) and view from the loo from our hut 😉 I saw a woodpecker in the tree next to us.
Love the hot tub (fantastic views), fire pit and the pre pared wood stacked beautifully under each hut looked great. The site is well cared for too.
This is a great base for visiting bath and other near by attractions or for just having a chilled couple of days.
We came via Amesbury and Stonehenge. The local King William pub does a good menu too.
A very friendly and accommodating host - I’d recommend it

Ik was blij met This is a beautiful and relaxing spot for a romantic getaway if you need alone time. Lots of attention to detail, from the glass size champagne on arrival, to the beautiful fair lights lighting the path to your shepherd's hut.

I stayed in jays shepherd hut, the view is fantastic, there is a wooden fence keeping your hot tub private so you can relax and enjoy the view.

Very clean, very friendly host.

10/10 would recommend and would stay again.

Ik was blij met Quiet, secluded, gorgeous view. Beautifully presented. Some really lovely touches. Very clean. Hot tub is amazing. Woodfired bbq meant for some very tasty sausages.

Ik was blij met We spent 2 nights in Jay's hut. The stay was absolutely magnificent. The hut was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything necessary. A nice addition was a place for a bonfire and grill. Great views, a peaceful quiet place. It was nice to relax in the large private jacuzzi. The owner was very kind. Certainly not once we will return. 🙂

Ik was blij met Absolutely loved our stay at Ruby’s Retreats. They have thought of every detail to make the shepherds huts cosy and well equipped, with most sensational views out over the Somerset hills. We loved the little touches like the bath robes & slippers, the complimentary fizz, the fire pits with ample wood to burn and of course the hot tub - with a view like that it was hard to wrench ourselves away from the tub each evening. There is a small bathroom with spotless toilet and shower, a fridge, kettle, hob, sink and basic cooking equipment as well as crockery and glasses. Even towels and bedding are provided - you really don’t need to bring anything along apart from yourselves and some nice food to bbq. We will definitely be back, thank you Andy for a wonderful stay.
