We paid £850 for two nights plus £60 for the hot tub and expected a much higher standard.
The cabin had dust on the headboard and bedside lamps, and the ice machine had visible mould/slime. The hot tub wasn’t filled, its cover was broken, and we had to remove leaves and debris ourselves. The BBQ area had dust, leaves and used coals left behind.
The rowing boat was full of water and leaves, so my husband had to help empty it, and it was missing an oar rowlock.

For this price, we expected everything to be clean, checked and ready for our arrival, Unfortunately, there was very little attention to detail, which made the stay feel poor value for money.
Photos of the ice bucket , dust on head board and lamp shade will not load but I have them.
Richard offered his reasons and a free return during a week day. Only two other bad reviews on different sites??

Ik was blij met Such a peaceful, secluded location. Beautiful and calming. Lovely decor inside. Hot tub is a nice touch. Romantic. Host- Richard was very welcoming.

Ik was niet blij met Mattress- very worn. Bathroom/shower floor didn’t drain well.
