Set on a Devon working farm, Higher Well Farm Holiday Park has a peaceful setting for relaxing holidays in stunning South Hams countryside. Just the job for families, couples and solo travellers, the site features a mix of slightly sloping areas, level spots and hardstanding pitches, all generously sized and spaced out. Dogs are welcome, with a dedicated dog walking field available for your furry friends. Conveniently located on the outskirts of the pretty village of Stoke Gabriel, the site is close (five minutes’ walk) to a 13th-century church, two pubs, a restaurant, a riverside bistro, a grocery shop, a post office and not forgetting Sandridge Barton Vineyard, open for tours and tastings. Guests can enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding and crabbing on the River Dart, or choose from a variety of scenic walks suitable for all fitness levels, with lots of photo opportunities along the way. Situated between Torbay (Paignton, Brixham, and Torquay), with its many attractions and beaches, and Totnes, the campsite is well located for exploring local points of interest. A short drive takes you to the English Heritage sites of Berry Pomeroy (10 minutes by car) and Totnes Castles, while the Royal Naval Town of Dartmouth and Dartmoor National Park (all 15 minutes) are also within easy reach.
