Ik was blij met Lots of space, no specific pitches, generally quiet and respectful guests. Great that could can have fires. Free washing up liquid was a nice touch. Felt safe, with a small play area for children.

Ik was niet blij met Although it was generally clean, the sinks were slow to drain which meant you were often greeted with the remnants of the previous users discarded toothpaste.
Some of play area needed some TLC.

Ik was blij met Large area, can setup where you want. Small playground for children to play and large field for them to run around. Facilities are clean and plenty. Shop well stocked, but they did run out of firewood over the weekend.

Ik was niet blij met Showers and toilet doors locks are difficult to lock, the lock hole bolts are misaligned so hard to catch. No way of seeing if toilets or showers are occupied when the doors are closed.
Shower floors are not smooth, sharp rocks embedded into the floor.
Not really the fault of the site owners, but dog owners do no pick up their pets mess.

Ik was blij met One of the best camping sites I stayed in. The site is on a slight slop but at the bottom the ground is level. Everything needed for a great stay is here. Plenty of toilets with toilet paper and showers and are clean, hot showers is always available. Washing up liquid/sponge is supplied. 24hr honesty shop with all sorts of snacks, drinks etc. (normal prices) Launderette is there if you needed to wash clothes. Logs are available to buy for camp fire. Playground with swings kids.
Great location and easy to get to Ilfracombe, Woolecombe beach and Watermouth Castle and very close to Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park. Getting food, there Co-op to do food shopping about 5 mins drive.

Ik was niet blij met Irresponsible people that shouldn't be allowed to have dogs leaving dog mess in the camp site.

Ik was blij met Loved the relaxed nature of the site. Location is perfect for Woolacombe/Ilfracombe and Combe Martin. Clean toilets and lovely hot showers. Definitely recommend!

Ik was blij met We were looking for a “back to basics” camping trip. But we were very impressed with the facilities and honesty shop that provided everything we needed. Also, having a giant slip and slide on site was so much entertainment for the kids, and great value for money.

Ik was blij met Good location. Spacious site. Friendly owner. Plenty of toilets and showers. Showers had hot water, plenty of pressure and more than enough room to swing a cat (all very rare things for campsite showers!)

Ik was niet blij met The facilities, although lovely, were hardly ever cleaned, it appeared, and were often absolutely filthy. Sadly there were some families who let their very young children roam about the facilities unsupervised. They made quite a lot of mess, which made the lack of regular cleaning even worse.

Ik was blij met The space was amazing on the campsite itself. The facilities (especially the showers) were super clean and we liked the vibe of the layout of the showers ,toilets and communal sink area. The honesty hut is a great touch and super handful for those bits you may have forgotten. Overall a great and effective campsite that is cost effective and cheerful. Would definitely stay here again. Overall a lovely night stay , with super friendly staff and a great campsite environment.

Ik was blij met Lovely to be able to pitch wherever you like and generous plot sizes. Lovely hot showers and facilities albeit basic.

You had access to benches and fire pit (first come, first served basis) which was great and the honesty shop was always well stocked and wood always available.

The dog walking field was a great hit with my one year old pup and she loved the freedom of having so much land to run around.

The slip and slide was good, running 1-4pm daily whatever the weather at £5 per person.

Not far from combe martin which was a beautiful place with stunning beaches (with one dog friendly section where they could be off lead) but no shops/pubs/cafe etc within walking distance.

Very laid back feel to the site and rocky available as and when needed.

Ik was niet blij met As the site was our base for the whole 9 days of our family holiday, it was a surprise to see quite a few work vans were coming in and out which took away that 'holiday feel'.

We experienced no issues with those onsite, however it did change the vibe once they arrived.

No wifi available although no real issue for us.

Would be good to have a 'hut' near the shop that had a book library and leaflets with local 'things to do'.

Ik was blij met Fantastic place to stay, never fails to amaze me how simple but brilliant it is. The showers are the best we’ve found so far
