Ik was blij met friendly no-nonsense site with individual rooms containing toilet and shower in the amenities block.. a clever idea that negated having to build separate blocks

Ik was niet blij met Not having anything to dry my hands on when using the facilities (no hand towels or hand dryer)
I had to resort to using a dog, not sure who's it was but it seemed amenable

The hand towels got taken away during covid, but we have now bought some new ones to go back in the toilet block. We hope you had a nice relaxing time and hopefully see you again sometime in the future :)

Lovely views.
No club house and no shop… we can this as a plus!!
WONDERFUL loos and shower facilities all free.
Wall mounted heating pipes to dry things on.
Large upright fridge
Large upright freezer to refreeze cool blocks. (with icemaker!!)
Fresh farm eggs whenever the chickens oblige.
Delicious homebred sausages and burgers to buy.
Washing up station with picture window over the small pig pens…endless entertainment.

Ik was blij met Absolutely incredible weekend. The most lovely family run the farm, and we’re so patient with my 4 year old who had lots of questions about the animals and was keen to help. The piglets were adorable and the chickens fresh eggs in the morning were a real treat.
The site facilities are great - it’s a proper building with heating and plenty of nice big individual rooms with showers and loos. Fridge and freezer, washer and dryer all available to use and wood available for fires. We bought burgers and sausages from the pork on site. Fabulous.
A beautiful site with a walk available to the reservoir.

Ik was niet blij met In the summer it’s possible that if the field is busy you might end up with a slopey pitch so be mindful of that when you pitch.

Disliked that we had to come home!

In the summer months, if it's slightly buisier we do open up an extra field for camping. This ensures that everyone still gets a nice spacious and relaxing camping experience whilst they are here. When we show guests around we can point out the best places to pitch your tent. Although there is a slight slope on the field, there are a few spots that are flatter and we are happy to show you where these are.

We hope to see you all again sometime in the future for some more farming fun!

Ik was blij met A very convenient location for accessing local villages and the South West Coast Path.

Excellent shower facilities.

Ik was niet blij met The field only has a few level pitches and these are mainly at the top of the field, closest to the road which is very busy. Traffic noise was consistent all day and early evening but did stop at night.

I think it would be less noticeable if you were in one of the cabins which are further down the hill.

Ik was blij met Location for Exmoor was spot on. Very quiet. Facilities are very clean and plenty of space just like your home bathroom.

Ik was blij met Absolutely everything! The site, the facilities, the animals, the host... Couldn't have been better. The showers were hot and huge (family sized!) and loads of loos. Logs and eggs available whenever you needed them. The washer and dryer and fridge freezer were so useful as we had every single type of weather you could think of. But still one of the best holidays we've been on.
