Sandparks Campsite

Ik was blij met Relaxed, very clean toilets and showers.
Use of freezers, spacious flat pitches.
Great sea views, quick & easy access to to beach, shop & pub.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing to dislike

Ik was blij met So close to the beach!..perfectly placed for exploring the north Cornwall coast and nearby towns.

Ik was blij met Location so near lovely beach.
Rules quiet time after 10pm which was followed.
Decent shower and toilet facilities and access to fridge

Ik was niet blij met Not allocated pitches, so could pitch anywhere, oftern come back in the day and found somebody else pitched up literally touching distance from your tent so no privacy and can hear everything.

Ik was blij met Great location, clean toilets, showers and washing up facilities, WiFi and reasonable prices, easy access to beach

Ik was niet blij met Lack of marked pitches meant people could set up very close to you, or park how they wanted taking up more space than necessary. Much of the field is sloping. It felt overcrowded with 150 + vehicles on the weekend we visited in early July

Great WiFi
Customer service fabulous even helped put tent up and fixed a broken pole.
Very helpful and on hand at all times to assist with any issues

Ik was niet blij met Packed in like sardines.
Bad welcome attitude because we had a larger tent.
Manager driving around at crawling pace, directly staring into our pitch.
Very Intrusive.
0 Privacy.
Quiet time was not at 10pm. More like 11-12.
Foul mouthed groups of young lads being unruly but that's okay??#
Packed up early and went home.

Thanks for your comments and feedback. Packed in like sardines is definitely an exaggeration but do not deny it will always be busy on a weekend in 30 degree heat by the sea . Fair enough it is not your type of campsite but plenty of others love it as it is and as you say its in a great position. I will pass your comments on to Gary who runs a very tight ship and gets loads of praise for the job he does.

Ik was blij met Stunning views. Excellent facilities. Wi-Fi very good which is a novelty when camping. Great pub by site

Ik was blij met A warm friendly welcome nothing was too much trouble. Clean and comfortable on the beach site. Would definitely recommend to fellow campers.

Ik was blij met Spacious pitch sizes, you choose where you want to set up. ( i chose top end, so my dog was away from others as there is an embankment no one can pitch on - space for my tethered dog - see picture)
Nice and quiet for how big it is. People respected the 10pm quiet time rule. No road noise through the night. Quiet. No animals waking you up ( considering it is next to lots of farm land, unless we got lucky )


Shower / toilet block very modern and very clean. The whole campsite is spotless.
The wardens of the campsite are lovely and friendly. They leave you alone unless you need them ( then they will help you etc)
Free wifi if u need. However i had phone signal the whole time.

The beach opposite is lovely (however dogs are not permitted summer months between 9 and 6pm)
There is a couple mile walking trail acessible through the gate at the back.
Theres a shop across the road and a nature reseve, lovely little area for dogs on leads rule ( fishing pond) . Also the coastal path for walking.

Theres a pub restaurant next to the field. And another across the road and more within 1 - 5 miles
Lots to do outside the campsite if you fancy an evening / day out
Lots of other beaches in driving distance.
All surfers paradise everywhere

Good location

Ik was niet blij met Hot weather (30 plus degrees) not their fault lol

Had to leave early as i could not escape the blistering heat ( in a tent) Otherwise i would of stayed the full 6 nights.

Thankyou so much for your comprehensive and great review of our site and we are so glad you had a great time with us. Just to correct you on one point. There are two beaches within a 10 minute walk. The south beach called Black Rock is dog friendly all year and the North beach at Widemouth allows dogs, but not between the hours of 10.00am and 6pm during the summer months.
