Ruan High Lanes Campsite is a small site that’s in a very strategic location for exploring the spectacular Roseland Peninsula. Set on a working farm and run by the Kendall family, this spot has great access to many local footpaths, including the nearby South West Coast Path, some of which can be directly accessed from site via private farm tracks. It's about a two-mile walk to coastal spots like Carne and Pendower beaches, so you won’t have to drive to the beach if you don’t want to. It's easy to find Ruan High Lanes Campsite, as the pitching field is just off the main road and a few minutes' walk from a local garden and bakery. The slightly larger village of Veryan (five minutes' drive) is just down the road, where there is a local shop and post office as well as a friendly pub recommended by your hosts. Facilities at this rural site include well-maintained toilets and showers. Barbecues are also allowed, and there are plenty of butchers and farm shops in the local area where you can pick up fresh Cornish produce for the grill. This pet-friendly site also has access to a meadow where well-behaved dogs can be let off the lead under their owners’ supervision.
