Real Glamping at the Fir Hill

Ik was blij met The most beautiful setting and atmosphere.
The host was top notch and the Apple juice was divine😉
The site here is impressive, you have everything you need and more. What’s makes it more is you are away from all the busy side of Newquay making it peaceful yet only a short drive if you want to get into the town.
The beaches around Newquay and the surrounding area are breathtaking.

Van de manager: The yurt was rented by a group of girls who were attending the Boardmasters Festival (which is less than 4 miles away). They arrived on a perpetually drizzly day but the manager’s first impressions were positive as they were jovial and appeared to listen to the manager’s introduction/induction to the site and yurt (we do spend at least 20 minutes going through the facilities, house rules (do and don’t etc…).
At 8.45 the manager received a texted complaint from one their yurt neighbours about loud music and singing coming from the girls’ yurt. The manager went to investigate and asked the girls politely to turn the music down and end the music completely by 10pm in respect of their neighbours who had complained (indeed this is one of the house rules).
Whilst chatting to them through the open yurt door, the manager noticed that they were eating (against our most important yurt rule) and noticed there were several empty cider cans. However some of the girls immediately apologised and the manager thought this was the end of the matter.
20 minutes after the visit to the girls’ yurt, the manager got a loud bang on the reception door and was confronted by a drunken lady stating very firmly she was a responsible nurse and as it was raining outside, they had no option to eat and drink inside their yurt.
The manager pointed out that during their induction he had pointed several sheltered areas where they could have “partied’ without disturbing others. She showed no interest in being shown our facilities again and walked back to her yurt.
