Ik was blij met Great location very quiet, basic but suited me

Ik was niet blij met Some people might find it basic, although porta loos are fine for me.

Ik was blij met Excellent shower, hot, powerful and clean. Great views. Lots of space - I was the only one there apart from 1 chap who stayed there all season.

Ik was niet blij met On a steep slope. But then it is called Summit and you wouldn’t get the views if it wasn’t up a hill!

It is on a slope, hence Summit & Kit Hill as you said :) we've kept the amenities to the left so they are all handy and there's lots of flat places to pitch, We've opened up earlier this year so it is quiet at the moment which is nice for lots of people. Ik was blij met Score based on the very accurate description on pitch up. Was confused as could not find the shower shed until farmer pointed it out but I'd just got warmed up after very wet day on Dartmoor and wasn't prepared to change that. Hosts were great, checking on me twice a day as I was the only one there. Would have been better with other campers to share the fire pit and chat but that's not hosts fault! Great location and views!. This site is great for exploring both east cornwall and Dartmoor. Other reviews complained about road noise, yes it's noisy during the day but generally stops once kitt hill closes. Slept like a baby and I'm a light sleeper....I chose this site as a test for wild camping. Don't think it's for me as I won't give up my camp bed and quilt and miss my big tent. 😄 that said, I'd stay again

Ik was blij met We have a family and this campsite was perfect for our needs. Clean toilets and shower with soap and sanitiser. The fire pit areas creates a social environment and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Stunning view over Cornwall and great location! We will be back.

Ik was blij met Top of the world - paradise. Sunrise at 4.30am was actually to die for. A peak moment.
Views tremendous- loads of walks right on your doorstep. Hot shower. Clean loos.
Loads of space.

Van de manager: Thank you Lynn, we love it here and love to share it. The views out over the Tamat Valley are superb and from the top of kit hill you can see Devon & Cornwall, the River Tamar and Plymouth sound out to see. Come back and take a dip in the quarry lake :)
