Ik was blij met The pitch on the field , the kids park was big , the little shop that sold most items, the main pub that served drinks and food and put on entertainment , the friendly residents when walking around the static caravans .

Ik was niet blij met Water tap on field was missing its push top so was left constantly running even after we reported it twice .
No WiFi or even data signal , didn’t stock Ham in the shop , changed times from 6pm to stop at 4pm on a Saturday when serving food .

Ik was blij met Pleasant atmosphere. Well kept site. On site bar, beer garden and club. Nice food. Excellent play area for the children. Close to shops and supermarkets. We have had a lovely weekend. There was a great group of campers. Very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great time.

Ik was niet blij met The thing that lets this site down are the toilet and shower facilities. Hence the seven star rating. While they were clean and never ran out of toilet paper, they are a long way from the camping field and could do with an upgrade. My sports watch recorded nearly 1,000 steps round trip to the toilets and we camped very close to the entrance of the field. Also the showers were cold.

Ik was blij met We loved the park area and green space to play cricket and football etc.
the little shop was reasonable prices.
All great friendly people

The shop could benefit from more variety for camping situations.
The children’s slide inside has a stuck up area which caused an injury to my child’s back ( this was reported, however didnt seem to have a plan of action)
Could be more entertainment on and a better choice of food :)

Ik was blij met Site is really well kept. We enjoyed our time here.
Toilets aren’t really that far from camping but can understand why people say this for younger children.
No constant bugs which was amazing!!

We had to leave early due to family reasons and was approached by Neil, upon asking us why we was leaving he fully understood and offered us an extra night at no charge the next time we visit shaw hall. Excellent service!

Ik was niet blij met This isn’t really the sites fault but we had some really selfish campers across from us, blocking pitches whilst waiting for others. Completely ignoring the quiet time rule. Screaming late into the night.

Would be better if pitches were marked out.
Would be nice to have electricity options at some point

Ik was blij met The field was t over crowded and there was a park for the children but that was broken in places. The shop on site is great and really reasonable priced.

Ik was niet blij met Toilets and shower facilities not clean and no hot water all weekend. Had to have cold showers. £25 a night is a lot to pay to camp when showers are cold and toilets are not clean and have broken sinks

Ik was blij met Brilliant campsite . There’s a shop that has everything you need , showers and toilet block . Also this is a caravan site with residents that also has a bar/pub with lots of entertainment and everyone is so friendly
