Deze vredige, familiegerunde camping biedt knusse, goed uitgeruste hutten en herdershutten op een prachtige locatie. Gasten prijzen de netheid, vriendelijke gastheren en attente voorzieningen zoals gratis koekjes en honden op het terrein. Ik was blij met Accommodation is amazing. Has all the essentials one might need and even above that. The stay was truly amazing.
Ik was niet blij met Directions are a little bit off, some sign might be useful that the cabins are away from the front accommodation. Would make it a lot less confusing.
Internet even thou provided worked maybe 25% of the time and then midnight onwards would not work at all. In area where there is no phone signal usable WiFi is really needed to check next hikes and to simply check in with family at home etc.

Ik was blij met We had a wonderful time staying in the cabin which was stunning & the kitchenette was very handy to have! Lovely view from the cabin itself and so much gorgeous wildlife on our doorstep, saw many different birds & even deer! Fabulous customer service, Ruth was fantastic & made us feel very welcome. So many amazing places within a short drive especially if you love natural spaces, bit out of the way which was exactly what we wanted! My partner & I couldn't have asked for better :)

Ik was blij met I’ve been coming to the hut for nearly 3 years now and keep on coming back.
It’s just abit out the way from the world so you can have a really peaceful time but still be close enough to all the other attractions that bring you to the lakes.
The owners are helpful and considarate always available if you have any trouble.
I would recommend staying here a million times over! It’s basically a cheaper version of therapy aha :)

Ik was niet blij met Not really a dislike, but no visitor folder with recommendations for local restaurants/pubs and walks.
WiFi very poor, but the whole point was to switch off. So not an issue for me

Very nice host and the hosts mam very warm and welcoming

Accommodation was perfect and very clean separate toilet and shower fantastic.

Peaceful and lovely stay

Ik was blij met Compact and very well equipped cabin. Everything from a tin opener to double gas camping hob to cook on. Mattresses were comfy and space under the beds to store luggage. Kids had a great time hunting for pine cones and investigating the pond and spotting ducks!
We visited Hadrian’s Wall and went for some food at the Duke of Cumberland - recommend it all.
Ik was niet blij met I liked everything - it was a v tranquil and nice stay.
If I were to be picky then the blind at the back of the cabin needs reversed so it blocks the light and a small fridge for storing milk in for the kids breakfast would be handy. Although we stayed on the hottest weekend of the year so I imagine under normal UK weather to have milk in a cool box would be fine!
