Tucked between scenic North Yorkshire countryside and the North Sea at Reighton Gap, Bramble Hill Glamping is set on a family-run farm offering up a variety of unusual accommodation options, all carefully restored or handcrafted in the workshop by the owners. Each unit has a woodfired hot tub and a woodburner to take the chill off cooler days. The site is family-friendly and there are very cuddly donkeys to meet and feed (banana skins are a favourite apparently), as well as pygmy goats, who like a lot of attention too. This being North Yorkshire, you may encounter the occasional rainy spell, but handily at Bramble Hill you can seek refuge in the communal games barn, where there’s a selection of games like bowling, giant Jenga and chess. Dogs are welcome too – so welcome in fact that they have their own canine play area for learning new tricks. There are also lots of local walks too, either along dog-friendly beaches or the King Charles III England Coast Path, which can be joined at the top of the glamping field. There are several pubs within about 10 minutes by car, and if you need to stock up on provisions, there’s a convenience store in Hunmanby (10 minutes’ drive).

Gasten prijzen de prachtige locatie met makkelijke toegang tot een spectaculair strand en kustpaden. De accommodaties zijn comfortabel, goed uitgerust met unieke opties zoals de bus. De houtgestookte hot tubs zijn een hoogtepunt. Dieren op het terrein voegen charme toe. Sommige gasten hadden last van vliegen, maar oplossingen werden geboden. De sfeer is rustgevend en de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding goed.

Gladys The Night Bus stacaravan (hot tub)

Ik was blij met All of it! We loved the bus and the play barn and animals. The location was perfect for us to get around. Honestly can’t fault how the place made us feel. We were all saying we were relaxed straight away. I was with my two teenage sons and dog and we settled easily and found our way round making bbq and hot tub fire first evening. The beach nearby was beautiful and the views from the bus were just amazing. Thank you.

Ik was blij met Great location, quiet, close to the beach. Nice accommodation. Huge bag of wood for the hot tub. Comfy bed and nice bathroom.

Ik was blij met Loved Whinifred! Such a comfy bed. Hot tub lovely, fire pit fab. All the birds & butterflies, the cute donkeys & funny goats. 'The Man' was very pleasant & his dog was very friendly! So easy to buy more wood with the QR code. We've had such a wholesome time. Would recommend & will return

Esmerelda trekkershut (hot tub)

Ik was blij met Beautifully maintained and well equipped accommodation on a lovely site in a gorgeous part of the world, what more could you want. Esmerelda is at the top of the site and so has a view of the sea and is very private. The wood-fired hot tub took a roaring fire for a couple of hours to get it up to temperature but the tub was well insulated so only small top up fires needed after that. Walking distance to a spectacular beach and east access to walking along the cliffs on the coastal path.

At Bramble Hill, you’re so close to the sea that you can walk down the farm track towards Reighton beach in 15 minutes; it’s dog-friendly all year round. Alternatively, follow the King Charles III England Coast Path along the cliff tops to Hunmanby Gap beach (55 minutes), where there’s a cosy beach café. If you want a longer hike, you can continue right into the seaside resort of Filey (an hour and 40 minutes on foot/15 minutes’ drive) from there. ​ Lovers of wildlife can witness the noisy colonies of seabirds at RSPB Bempton Cliffs (15 minutes’ drive). Younger kids will probably be more entertained by the cheeky meerkats and alpacas at Filey Zoo (also 15 minutes), where there’s a play area too. The visitor centre at Forestry England Dalby (50 minutes) is the springboard to mountain biking tracks and a sculpture trail; if you’re after something a bit more hardcore to keep teens entertained, North Yorkshire Water Park (35 minutes) has inflatable obstacle courses and facilities for paddleboarding or kayaking.
