East Anglia bound and looking for a peaceful and cosy hideaway tucked away from the hassle of everyday life? Step forward Holton Huts, a small pop-up site five minutes’ drive from the market town of Halesworth, and within easy reach of seaside towns like Southwold (15 minutes’ drive) and pristine beaches including Covehithe (20 minutes) on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Best suited to single guests, couples or small families with up to two children, the comfy wooden shepherd’s huts are purpose built, self-catering and set on a tree-shaded three-acre plot that's surrounded by nature and farms, yet close to amenities and services. Each hut is simply furnished, blending cosy elements with modern touches – a luxurious double bed, dining and living space, a bathroom with shower, basin and loo, and a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials. Bed linen and towels are provided, and there are barbecue facilities and picnic tables in private garden areas as well. Halesworth has shops and supermarkets, as well as cafés, pubs and takeaways if you’d rather abandon the idea of cooking altogether.
