Ik was blij met A simple but lovely evening and morning in a stunning location. Hosts allowed us to enjoy our time undisturbed and communicated via text message when needed.

Everything clean and in excellent working order.

Ik was niet blij met The bell tents might be a better option if you’re on the taller / larger size as the sleeping arrangement in the hut is quite small.

Ik was blij met We absolutely loved our stay- the herdwick hut was cozy, comfortable, and well equipped. The facilities were clean. We felt welcome and it was very convenient to be able to buy logs/fire lighters etc on site.
The hut itself felt private and it was the perfect place to be based to go to the coast, or just spend time on the lovely campsite. The kids loved the play area and toasting marshmallows!
We will definitely be back next year.

Ik was niet blij met The only negative we had was we felt the communication was not great- I did try and make an alteration to my booking via email address provided and two different phone numbers but did not receive a response until I tried WhatsApp several weeks later. However; once I had made contact the hosts were very helpful and kind enough to facilitate the changes to our booking.

Glasses, stove and fridge in the cabin was really helpful

Ik was niet blij met Bed was uncomfortable, could feel every spring in the mattress.
Cabin could have been cleaner

Ik was blij met We had a wonderful one nights stay in the shepherds hut. Perfect for just what we wanted as a mini break with the kids. Great facilities ie hot showers, clean toilets in communal areas. The space for the kids to run around and explore was fab. Sitting around the camp fire eating marshmallows was perfect evening.
We will definitely be back! Thank you.

Lovely toilets and showers!
Perfect location for several beaches
Lovely pub serving food - 5 minute walk away
The yurt we staying in was just perfect - lovely comfy beds and it was really well equipped with everything we could possibly need.
Perfect secure site for children - they were able to go off on their own and we could see them at all times.
Blankets provided in the communal area
Firewood/lighters available to purchase either by cash or bank transfer
