Norfolk Coast Path Camping and Glamping

Ik was blij met This new and developing site is situated in an amazing location, a short walk away from the dunes and a lovely beach, a picturesque village with great pub and bakery, and only a short drive away from the Drove orchard complex and Old Hunstanton.
Whilst facilities here at the moment are limited, they were adequate for our needs, we are pretty self sufficient in outer van. The guys on site were polite and helpful, offering bottled water if needed.
We had a lovely huge field area to ourselves which we enjoyed and were free to camp and BBQ at our leisure.

Ik was niet blij met At present, paying full price for this site is at the top of its money, as there really are only toilets and a shower in a field. However, we knew this when booking, based on others reviews.
Hopefully, as the site develops, some areas of shade and wind breaks will be added to enhance the facilities being built on the site.

Ik was blij met Liked that it was really close to the coast.. very friendly and had both electrical and waste water disposal on site. Also a cafe just up the road. :-)

Ik was niet blij met Shower facilities need work- no where to put clothes - also the drain in shower was blocked and ended up standing in water. Very out dated and a bit grubby :-(

Ik was niet blij met I feel scammed by this campsite. Paid extra money outside of pitch up to upgrade my pitch. When I turned up, the place was not at the address that I was given. They ignored all my calls and texts. Texts were seen at the time of check in but ignored. They only replied to me after 24 hours past the booking to tell me they won’t refund me and it wasn’t their fault. Photos of campsite are FAKE. There are no signs or entry points. Absolutely ridiculous.

Ik was blij met Fantastic friendly on site staff. I camped as a female with my little boy before the Sandringham Live concerts and felt safe throughout at the quiet lovely campsite. The local pub and bakery (The White Horse) was great and lovely beach in walking distance. Provided bottled water by staff as the site is still under construction but all in working order. The best experience was they have on site owls and they allowed by little boy to hold them.

Ik was niet blij met The site provided very clinical/useful handwash and paper towels. To meet the high standards and glamping experience when finished I think the ladies toilets and showers should have spa like Eco-products and an onsite hairdryer in the shower room. This would also be helpful for travellers walking the coastal path that wouldn’t want to carry extra weight.

Ik was blij met The location which is very close to the beach.

Ik was niet blij met It doesn’t exist yet! See photo below. The photos on pitch-up have been staged- the owner actually admitted that when he offered for us to go to his other site near by. One of the photos used for this particular site, has been taken on his other site.

So we went to his other site which was one I avoided booking originally because of the bad reviews about the facilities. We had booked three nights, but left after one.

Facilities on the other site- 3 working showers, 1 mouldy and two not clean with broken shower heads. Washing up area

Grass not cut and pitches too close together. Unkept site with dead plants growing out of dustbins.

I really don’t like giving bad reviews as it’s someone’s business, but to turn up to a field where someone is still painting the toilet ‘containers’ is just so disappointing. We couldn’t get through to the owner and luckily, the nice guy who was painting rang the owner directly. A totally ruined holiday.

Ik was blij met Nice Flat site, a short walk to a nice secluded beach

Ik was niet blij met Site services still under construction. At time of visit. No pot wash, drinking water point. Rubbish disposal. Amenities were a construction site cabin with no power which meant only one ladies loo, and one shower that had no light so was pitch black once you shut the door as no window. The cleanliness of the male toilets was poor and there was builders rubbish in there. We were surprised at the state of the site when we visited and how much people paid for a night stay on the site as it is now.
