They’ve got you covered at Wild Camping at Cladswell, a no-frills pop-up site set on a peaceful grass field about 10 minutes’ drive from Ragley – or about 20 minutes’ walk along the quiet A422. This DIY site is designed for everyone who loves camping with no fuss, no crowds, just open space and fresh air. What you won’t find here: electric hook-ups, shower amenities or any pre-pitched tents. This is camping as it once was – simple, affordable and close to nature – just the job for festival-goers or anyone wanting a no-frills place to stay near Ragley Hall’s family activities. What you will find here: easy vehicle access up a track to the vast and flat camping field, where you can choose your own spacious grass pitch, basic on-site toilet facilities and a very chilled, informal atmosphere. This back-to-basics site also welcomes your four-legged chums – and it’s got an enclosed dog activity field that you can book for an additional fee.

Ik was blij met Peaceful little place with plenty of space for everyone , toilets was clean and full of toilet paper .

Ik was niet blij met Could of done woth a shower but being only open a year can understand why there isnt any

Ik was blij met May just be a basic site, however the host was very happy helping us with there location plus directions including marked images for a location we was going to for the afternoon/evening. The site was very quiet and facilities very clean.

Ik was blij met Excellent friendly hosts who was on hand with direction when we got lost. Lovely flat spacious field.loads of open space. If you like back to basics this is the place. We loved it so much we have booked to return for the bank holiday.

Ik was niet blij met Running water would be a plus and a hole in the ground for an Elsan. But as we only staying a few nights we took plenty of water and brought the toilet home to empty.

Ik was blij met A very large field where you can pick where you park pretty much so not packed in like sardines like on some campsites. Lots of space in a nice countryside surrounding. Alcester is also a beautiful place to visit locally with lots of shops. We will probably come stay again if we're back down this way.

Ik was niet blij met The toilet suffices but isn’t particularly luxurious would be nice if there was running water as having animals buying water is not really feasible

Ik was blij met Loved everything about it! The host sent a lovely message on the morning of our stay detailing all relevant information. The sunflower field was beautiful and lovely to explore. Toilets were clean and topped up with toilet roll. Couldn’t fault!

Ragley Hall Park and Gardens (10 minutes’ drive/20 minutes’ walk) is a stately Palladian mansion set in 450 acres of parkland; it has a crammed schedule of events, from bike weekends to air displays, music festivals to lavish weddings. The house is host to a fabulous art and porcelain collection, and in the grounds – designed by Capability Brown, no less – kids can run around in the 3D maze and on climbing frames. Another big attraction in the area is Stratford-upon-Avon (25 minutes’ drive), where you can explore William Shakespeare’s 16th-century birthplace and the childhood home of his wife at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage. If you’re spending the whole day there, you might like to hire a rowing boat to paddle down the River Avon or book tickets for a performance at the esteemed Royal Shakespeare Theatre. When you have young kids to entertain, Imagination Street (10 minutes) is an amusement centre with soft play and bouncy castles – that should take care of them if you hit any days when the weather isn’t playing ball.
