Ik was blij met The Site is in a great location , near many attracions such as Coalbrookdale, Ironbridge, Shrewsbury , Much Wenlock.

Quiet and peaceful , with deer on the park at night.

The price is affordable

Ik was niet blij met The touring pitches are directly under High tension electricity transmission lines which hum constantly . It's white noise that you get used to , but it does mar the sylvan idyll somewhat.

The touring pitches are just one expanse of coarse hardcore, rather than the more usual fine gravel pitches seperated by grassed areas, which gives the effect of camping in a car park.

There is no vehicular access to the site without calling the warden on the intercom each time , no code is given out , no fob, just repeated calls to the warden . Understandably they don't want to be disturbed 2000-0800 so leaving the car outside the gate is required, this is perhaps a little early when the site is so conveniently situated for Telford which has attractions open late.

The toilet block has a selection of missing and broken seats and door locks, combined with midewy shower curtains and blocked drains. This is a shame as the are kept clean, and whilst old in style with a few small repairs the toilet area would be perfectly fine.

Ik was blij met The visiting deer were a lovely sight to behold.
The residents living there were friendly and made us welcome.

Ik was niet blij met The camping pitches were at the top of a steep hill, while the toilet/shower block was at the bottom of that hill.
The shower /toilet block was in a very bad state of repair, none of the doors on the showers closed, shower curtains were hung in there instead, lots of black mould growing in them, one didn’t work at all, with no shower head on it.
Hand washing basins ok.
The toilets were just about ok.
There were washing machines and dryers in there, which looked to be in good condition, there was a kitchen sink in there too, which I took to be the sink for washing dishes and cutlery. We didn’t!
The roof leaked so a huge puddle of water on the floor.
Overall the shower block was really bad.
To access and leave the site we had to press a buzzer for the wardens to let us in and out, although there was a push pad to use for a PIN code, we were told they did not provide one.
We will not return to this venue again.

Ik was niet blij met Waited 20 minutes for answer to open prison gate,toilets clean but in bad state of repair ,only llock on 1 toilet door

Ik was blij met Very good facilities including clean toilets and shower .
Security gate was very useful.

Ik was niet blij met Lots of dogs barking at times when you walk past their caravans.

Ik was niet blij met Hard to get in and out of campsite as you have to buzz and wait for someone to answer and wait for gate to open, which made it difficult when we were there for a competition and sometimes no one answered and had to drive round to find someone.
We were stuck in tremendous traffic getting there an hour after you are allowed to check in, we checked in at 630, I hadn't noticed it was 530 latest checkin which is my fault, never known anywhere to stop check ins that early in 12 years!! But we had left with plenty of time to get there about 430 but unfortunately stuck in such bad stand still traffic to then be interrogated when we got there and basically told off. Then told we were lucky they let us in in front of our 3 children.

Ik was blij met Welcome, security, tidy, cleanliness of facilities. The facilites were well worn but spotless and there was plenty of hot water. The site is steep, but the pitch area is reasonably flat, all on hard standing with nearby eletricity. Near sightseeing areas and great if steep dog walkies..

Ik was niet blij met Security was tight and allthough they were quite happy to let you in and out, we did feel guilty keeping the lady up when we came back late...

Ik was blij met Close to Ironbridge Gorge, staff very friendly

Ik was niet blij met Bit of a faff getting in and out facilities are clean but run down chemical disposal point was awkward to get to and the roadway surface rough considering the facilities it was a bit expensive

Ik was blij met Great for overnight stop on way to Wales, basic hard standing (CarPark like) shower block dated (but we knew this as it was in the description) guy on the evening was very welcoming (sorry didn’t get your name) explained if we went out just to give an idea what time we would be back as the lady would wait for our return, she was also lovely the following morning 😊
We would stay again for an overnight.
Didn’t get chance to look round the site due to the rain, but the holiday homes look nice

Ik was niet blij met Mine really, the over head electric pylons where a tad noisy bit again was told about them and they did not disturb our sleep
