Ik was blij met The site was immaculate. It’s a lovely small site with access to toilets, washing up facilities and drinking water. The site is opposite a pub which is located next to the canal. We ate there a couple of times and the food was delicious. We will certainly be visiting again!

Ik was niet blij met The shower block is located across the road from the pitch we stayed on. Not as convenient as we would have liked but that’s just personal preference. Toilets were a little smelly from the outside.

Ik was blij met We booked a last minute stay literally to be near home for the final night of our holiday. Reception is across the road in the pub. Where you are given a code to get in. Check in was quick & friendly. Pitches are hard standing but not that level so chocks were required. Good toilet block clean and warm. Washing up area is outside, hot water but very basic. Chemical waste and bin area good. Shower block is across the road! But clean and good. There is no WiFi and phone signal is poor. Pub is great the food was really good, services and prices good too. We live near the area but had not been to the pub before. Walking is great along the canal and I imagine it’s a good place to be based to discover north Shropshire. It was very quiet and we could hear the owls which was wonderful. The site served a purpose for us and we won’t really have a need to go back.

Ik was niet blij met The shower block across the road, which is also used by the statics in another area. I usually stick the dry robe on get showered and get back to the van to get dressed. Didn’t fancy crossing the road on view to the pub doing that. It wasn’t a major issue just not ideal. The washing up area is very basic, and not under cover, as as it rained all evening got wet washing up! The hook up. We have a big modern 6 berth motor home, we couldn’t have the water pump or heating on as it tripped the fuse. Not ideal but as it was 1 night it didn’t matter but for others it would be an issue. Hard standing wide pitches but not level so needed chocks. Not a problem for us for might be for others. Our modern motor home needs WiFi to operate. No WiFi is not usually a major issue because we can toggle from the phone. But hardly any phone signal as well made it problematic for us.

Ik was blij met Loved how quiet and relaxed it was. Website said 25 pitches but only about 6 occupied. Toilets were always available and clean. Showers were clean and hot and a short walk behind the pub. The site being so quiet we didn't need to queue.

Fantastic to be so close to the canal for paddle boarding.

Ate at the pub both days, great selection of drinks and food arrived amazingly quickly both Sunday afternoon and Monday evening. Sunday menu was great to have more than just roasts. Staff were friendly and the whole check in was smooth and comprehensive.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing really the pub that runs the site is open 12 till 3 then 6: till 9:30 so handy for food not open late. Maybe a shower block on the touring field?? But wasn't a problem crossing the road for a shower.

Ik was blij met Quietness of the site and locality of the canal towpath

Ik was niet blij met 10amp supply and undeveloped pitches also the location of the 2 male and female showers which are for both touring pitches and permanent pitches. The pub is also not dog friendly even when they have stopped serving food
