Mi è piaciuto The sites grounds are beautiful, the pitches are flat and the facilities are spot on. The farm life on the site really made to the experience and there is no need to set an alarm as the peacocks will let you know when it’s time to get up. Very relaxed site minimal visibility from the management. No WiFi and minimal 5g signal but this actually added to the experience as we were able to unplug as enjoy the site.

Non mi è piaciuto No dislikes from me, but be prepared as no shop just to pop to. Showers could do to drain better as to avoid trip hazards.

Mi è piaciuto The staff on site throughout the bank holiday weekend were always on hand for very question/request or need. The barn was a great communal area for families to get out of the tents when the weather closed in. We pitched up on the communal fire pit at the top of the site which was great to socialise and allow the kids to play.

Non mi è piaciuto The pitch where we had to place was very boggy and due to the busy nature of the site due to minimal pace been restricted even further due to the poor weather leading upto our stay. Not water for washing up would be great from a hygiene point of view. The facilities could have been cleaner but were not unacceptable by any stretch. Due to the weeks weather before arriving the site had long grass which prohibited a suitable area for the children to play safely.

Mi è piaciuto Welcome was great. Contacted the mobile given and was greeted by owner. Was given a welcome pack and given a bit of advice as to the field and how/where to pitch.

Non mi è piaciuto Angle of the field. We knew this and booked anyway. Didn’t bother us but may be a problem for some when sleeping.

Mi è piaciuto I have never left any sort of review before. We were 1st time campers for this stay. Arrived at 2pm with unassisted check in, basically pick a spot and crack on. We selected a pitch in the small field where there was one other pitch taken and the friends that we were joining. The pitch/site was quite for all of our stay. The small field had a bench and fire pit available for us to use. And someone from the site came round on a tractor to offer logs for us to purchase. As mentioned we were 1st time campers the toilets on site were clean which is a key factor when this been our first venture into the camping scene. We took a walk a round the whole site to the swimming pond which had many people taking advantage of this facility due to the heat wave. Our party was close to staying a second night but we were unprepared for this extra night. Great site and pretty sure we will be back as the location works perfect for us to get away spontaneously.
