Mi è piaciuto I think I’ve found my new favourite site! Generously sized, well maintained pitches and friendly welcoming owners. No showers but I knew that when i booked and tbh I think adding them may take away from the charm of the place, the extremely clean toilet facilities are perfect and there’s something quite nice about the site being more simplistic. The real star of the show though is the views, absolutely stunning and so peaceful, a true escape from it all, just exactly what I was looking for, time to disconnect, enjoy the outdoors and then come back to read a book outside with a cup of coffee, bliss 👌

Non mi è piaciuto the only thing i disliked is the fact that I didn’t discover this place earlier in the season and i’m not sure i can make it back before it closes mid sept 😢

Mi è piaciuto good location and toilets were clean

Non mi è piaciuto So full disclosure, I didn’t stay! I’ve never done this before but i felt so uncomfortable that i stayed for about half an hour and then made the decision to leave and go elsewhere. When I arrived there were three or four large vans and dance music blaring out (when I say dance music, I mean full on rave dance music at volume) and obvious signs that some people were having party on the pitch next to me (empty cans strewn everywhere and crates of beer outside). I’d already paid so sat for half an hour trying to decide if i was being silly and it was only for one night so could I handle it and i just decided no - I thought about reporting it but when i looked for contact info, I realised that the warden isn’t onsite which made me more uncomfortable. Some may disagree but as a solo female traveller you sometimes just get a vibe and you need to list to the spidey senses, the place didn’t look like the website, it looked a bit run down and the fact there’s essentially no warden just added to it. It was a bit sickening given the time of night i arrived (around 9pm) and the fact i’d already paid but it was the right decision for me - and it must’ve been bad because I chose to drive about another hour down the road and sleep at a service station instead!

Mi è piaciuto What’s not to like! - spacious pitches, friendly helpful wardens, incredibly clean facilities, overall a brilliant site!

Non mi è piaciuto feeling like it was so good it deserved a review and that means i’m telling more people about it - if i can’t get booked the next time then ill be raging 😂
