Mi è piaciuto Absolutely amazing location with wild swimming opportunities and great views across the Dales. We particularly enjoyed using the sauna facilities (for an affordable extra cost), and watching the sun set before a campfire in the evening. Shower and kitchen facilities were spotless, and the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. There is a beautiful woodland path from the campsite into Skipton, and a convenient bus service operates from the main road below the campsite. We've already recommended the campsite to friends!

Non mi è piaciuto There are only two female showers between quite a lot of campers, so an early start was needed for a weekend shower!

Mi è piaciuto Amazing facilities including a bar a night and coffee van in the morning. Wonderful clean toilets and showers on a well-maintained campsite. A very friendly welcome from Sharon, who was extremely knowledgeable about the local area.

Mi è piaciuto Fantastic facilities including clean toilets and showers. Free fire pit hire and charging facilities. Lovely and friendly introduction from site owners who were always around to answer questions. Beautiful location with views of Snowdonia.

Mi è piaciuto Excellent location just outside Windermere - with a great pub across the road. Received a warm welcome from a lovely lady who was really helpful and knowledgeable. Pitches were well spaced out and secluded, with beautiful views across the Lakes. Loved the outdoor shower and the compost toilet was definitely an experience! Overall a great little campsite for backpackers and young couples, located in beautiful surroundings with a great atmosphere.

The composting loo is something new and different for this year and it's working very well so far. My wife now reminds me that she is the 'lovely lady' in your review !

Mi è piaciuto Lovely friendly staff and excellent facilities, with modern shower and toilet blocks which were cleaned regularly. Location was ideal (less than a 10 minute drive into Bakewell) and lots of nearby walks, including the beautiful Lathkill Dale. Mobile phone signal was also good (fast 4G!) and the campsite was easy to find.
