Mi è piaciuto Great location for us to stop over one night as we were travelling through to Dunvegan. There is a small ferry about 15 minutes from the camp site that takes you to Isle of Skye. It is very remote so bring any essentials with you. The shower was in a converted container so very basic but we had a Motorhome so didn’t need to use the facilities. Considering the campsite was ‘out in the sticks’ the Wi-Fi was the best we have experienced in all of Scotland so far! We loved the peace and tranquility of the site… although we did have a chuckle when the local fire brigade rocked up on the evening to carry out their weekly training on site! 🤣

Mi è piaciuto There was nothing not to like. It was in a very peaceful location but not too far too drive into Ludlow. It was the first fully serviced pitch we have been to as it had a tv aerial in addition to the electric and water supply. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities were extremely clean. We enjoyed sitting at the picnic tables next to the river and taking a riverside walk up to the local church whilst passing through the field full of lambs. Beautiful spot and will definitely be back!

Mi è piaciuto What a difference a fully serviced pitch made - fabulous! The other amenities were a very short walk away such as the chemical waste and the shower block etc which we appreciated. Loved the very friendly welcome we received upon arrival and the friendly staff in the bar. Great location to explore East Devon but also a lovely site to stay on for a quiet relaxing day when needed. As we are newbies to caravanning we were very impressed with the overall facilities, the ease of booking from start to finish and the friendliness of the staff and would definitely return.

Non mi è piaciuto The only drawback was a couple of other groups close to us were very noisy up until 1am. However we did not report this to the site so I’m sure they would have dealt with it had we asked them to.
