Mi è piaciuto From the minute we arrived at The Railway Inn, to the minute we left, we loved every minute! On arrival we were greeted by a lovely young woman (didn't get her name) who showed us to our pitch and gave us as much information as we needed, and was very helpful and polite! Our pitch was absolutely lovely set next to an old well and was lovely and peaceful surrounded by other lovely campers! We got set up and had wonder into the pub and sat in the beer garden enjoying the lovely weather with a crisp cold cider with my wife to celebrate our anniversary weekend away with our son! After having tea we went back into the pub to where we met the owner of the site and what a cracking down to earth bloke he is! After a few pints, getting to know others staying on site, he put on the karaoke machine and what a night we all had! As for negative reviews we read before going, take it from us there is nothing wrong with this site it's fantastic! As for the reviews on the toilet blocks, yes there old but were clean and nothing like we read, this is a fantastic priced site and went above and beyond what we expected and is perfect! It is a campsite and not a 5 star hotel in the Maldives, it's camping and is a one we won't forget for all the right reasons! Thank you again to all the staff on site especially the owner! Keep doing what you are doing as your doing a fantastic job of running a fantastic site!

Mi è piaciuto After selling our self build camper this year we are trying out our options and glamping pods was on the list! We booked here as was a perfect location to visit Scarborough for the day before check in, then stay here for the night, then into Whitby then next day before heading back up home, and boy it did not disappoint!! From arrival to departure it was perfect! Very polite and friendly at reception on check in, site is spacious and well maintained, great lay out of site, bar was priced well compared to other sites we have stayed at, bar staff very helpful and friendly, food was fantastic and good price, staff were fantastic again with this! Site is very clean, very friendly atmosphere while walking around site, everyone is happy 😁 Toilet and shower blocks very clean and modern!

Mi è piaciuto By far the best place we have stayed yet! Meet the owner at the gate as we bought some logs from him for out camp fire, lovely gentleman, very polite and friendly! We parked up and set up for the night in our self build camper, and couldn't believe how peaceful it was. There are no dedicated pitch spaces so unlike most sites where your parked very close to the next, you are able to park with extra room which is ideal in my eyes. We set up our fire and just chilled round the fire, and ordered a takeaway to be delivered which was really nice. We took our firestick for our TV which reqs linked to my phone for data, most places it doesn't work, however here the signal was excellent. The toilets were immaculate, showers looked spot on too but never used them with only staying the night. This is place we will defo be coming back! We even suggested to the owner if they would put up a hot tub for motorhomes so we can have the best of both worlds in our van rather than having to hire a pod to stay in, to which he said he would look into it so fingers crossed! The site is only 25 mins from our home in Newcastle but felt like a million miles away from all the daily hussle and was beautiful! Thank you again for a lovely night away!

Mi è piaciuto After building our self build vivaro camper, this was our 1st ever time away in it and didn't have a clue what to expect. We choose to go to berwick as motor in law use to have a static on East Ord and love berwick, and this was perfect as only 12 mins from Town center. On arrival we thought we were lost because there was no one else here. But after 5 mins of nerves we settled to a fantastic 1st ever night away and couldn't have picked a better site to see what it's all about! Very clean flat site, grass cut nice and short, very spacious, toilets are the cleanest av seen. We arrived at around 6pm and was beautiful as the sun was begin to set and was lovely playing football with our year old son while it was setting. Another camper arrived at around 9pm but we didn't get to see them as we were settled for bed. Great for tv reception. So peaceful had a great night's sleep. Would highly recommend this site and will defo be back!!!
