Mi è piaciuto I can’t really fault the place. Clean, tidy, gorgeous countryside, quiet. (Well until our kids turned up!) Really nicely done inside. Sofa bed was really comfy which is not always the case.

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing. There was no WiFi but we embraced it for the chance to check out.

Mi è piaciuto Thought the pods we stayed in were really cute. They had almost everything we needed. It was nice to have somewhere to sit in the evening when the kids were in the bed and it was good to have all the kitchen set up and shower etc. A home away from home. The site was quiet but other than that we had no real reason to venture into the site much beyond our little area. Leigh was really helpful and had great customer service attitude. Nothing was too much trouble. I think these pods are best suited to a couple rather than family of four.

Non mi è piaciuto One major omission for me in the pod was the lack of a bin. There was a tiny bathroom bin but we could have done with a slightly larger kitchen bin. Second suggestion would be to have some coat hooks on the wall somewhere. Somewhere to hang wet coats as in the Lake District it’s inevitable that rain happens and there is nowhere to hang coats. Thirdly, the sofa bed would probably be the only reason we would not come back as a family of four. We let the kids have the main bed (which was comfy) so that we could stay up and watch TV but we had a terrible couple of nights sleep. The bars from the base of the sofa bed dug right in your back and it was too small for two adults to share. Finally, there is no ventilation other than the front door and bathroom window at the back and so it got a little stuffy in there with 4 of us. The site provided a fan but there was no plug near enough to the bed and the cable wasn’t long enough. We managed though.

Mi è piaciuto There is everything to love about this campsite. The view, the toilet facilities are the best I’ve ever seen, the cleanliness, the efficiency of everything. All amazing.

Non mi è piaciuto We pitched on hard standing because we have a campervan but had we opted for a camping pitch with the van, we would have been in a mess with levels. It was all a bit slopey so you’d definitely need blocks to adjust levels. Unfortunately the hard standing area was empty of other humans for the week we stayed so it felt a little sole-less. But it just meant no one could hear us nagging the kids. 😊
