Mi è piaciuto Open field so you could pitch where you wanted along a little stream. The children loved the freedom to play during the day and the communal firepit in the evening. The owners contributed to the happy and relaxed atmosphere and took children to visit their animals.

Mi è piaciuto Big, bumpy fields behind a pub, managed by a very enterprising family. Plenty of space and clean facilities. It was in a quiet village, with a pleasant walk across fields to the local shop.

Mi è piaciuto It was relaxed but well-organised. We chose our own pitch on an uncrowded field, and the owner brought us the fire-basket we'd ordered. The facilities were appropriately rustic - a washing up area in a timber shelter, and a small block of shower and loo cubicles - but everything was clean and worked well.
