Mi è piaciuto Camped from Friday to Sunday as a mini break for my son (15yr) and I. We really enjoyed our stay at the site, and found the facilities spotlessly clean. We were met on arrival and shown where to camp. The owner was brilliant, she asked what we had planned and offered some ideas of what we could do. What makes this site particular appealing for us was a small 15 minute walk to a fantastic pub showing live football and the most amazing Indian food. We loved it that much we returned on the Saturday night too instead of cooking our steak. Trust me, I'm from the midlands and known a good Balti when I find one! There are some great walks from the site, we decided to climb to see Admiral Rodney's Column. The views were breath taking and certainly worth the walk. In terms of the camp field, we hired a grass pitch with electrical hook up. All pitches looked nice and flat and well kept.

Non mi è piaciuto The site was fantastic and I can't fault it one bit. The only point I'd make is the walk to the pub you'll go past Rodney House. Here a dog jumped at us through the fence and although couldn't climb the fence did mean that both my son and I jumped into the road into on coming traffic. The dog really did catch us both by surprise which could have been much worse.

Mi è piaciuto What a great little gem of a site! Quiet and peaceful, and I have to say probably the cleanest facilities I've ever used whilst camping, but even without the pandemic I imagine they are always kept spotless. The site is so well kept. Pitches are very large giving you plenty of room between tents and on a very slight slope which is great for drainage meaning any rain is soon gone, perfect when camping! Everybody was really respectful too, both with noise and social distancing. Just wished I could have stayed for two weeks and not just six days.

Non mi è piaciuto I noticed one piece of grass was a 1cm longer than the rest.
