Mi è piaciuto Our family of five needed a little RnR and the Treehouse was the perfect place for to switch off and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Nicky and Jason gave us such a lovely welcome, the kids loved meeting the sheep, horses and hens, and the eggs were unanimously voted the best we’d ever tasted. The treehouse was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for the five of us. The kitchen was well equipped and a great spot to soak in the surrounds while having tea. The bathroom block was clean and spacious, with good showers and we were lucky to have the site to ourselves during our stay. The kids just loved running up and down the hill, playing table tennis and toasting marshmallows over the fire pit. Simple pleasures - Such a lovely break!

Mi è piaciuto We had the honour of being the first guests in hut 3 - named Fudge after one of the horses in the field behind. It was clean, surprisingly warm at night and comfortable, and our daughter, five, loved being on the bunk above the double bed. We all slept well on the good mattresses and enjoyed sitting out at night to enjoy the lovely views - there were a couple of chairs with the hut and also a picnic bench alongside. The owners, based in the house next door, were very welcoming and clearly wanted to make everything nice for their first guests.The toilet block was clean and had hot water - the shower was really warm and powerful. There was also an indoor dining table and washing-up area, and an outdoor patio area for barbecues. There's easy access to drinking water behind the huts and kettles to use inside. There are also plenty of plug sockets. We had enjoyable trips to Bridgnorth - a really nice town - where we had brilliant fish and chips by the river from Seagull's, and to Ray's farm, where both our kids loved petting the goats and looking at the deer, pigs etc. It was just the break we needed.

Non mi è piaciuto Very minor quibbles but good to be aware that it can be tricky to find. Look for the farm shop on the main road - it's right next door. Our boy, 21 months, was a menace so we had to keep hiding the kettle and cups from him. A high shelf might have been handy - but that was quite specific to us. As it stayed light pretty late, and the kids were too excited at first to sleep, I jammed a towel in the window to block out the light, as our hut had no curtain or blind. I think there is WiFi but I forgot to ask for the code.
