A really nice site in a fabulous village setting. Some minor issues.

Mi è piaciuto Facilities are clean and to a good standard. The pitches are spacious, relatively flat and each has a pic-nic table.
Non mi è piaciuto Lighting in the area of the toilet block is on all night which affected my sleep. There is a wood cabin/ bothy with a solid floor. Unfortunately the occupants moving around with their shoes/boots on and the creaking door in the early hours also affected my ability to sleep well.

giu 2026 Mi è piaciuto The facilities for a pop up camp site were excellent and I really enjoyed the shower facilities, good hot water with enough power to wash away a long days hike.
Non mi è piaciuto The downside for me was the trucks that started early morning (3am) and continued only to be joined by the local farm traffic and morning rush hour. S almost a sleepless night. It would have been better if I could have pitched further from the road.
