Mi è piaciuto Met by the owner on arrival and shown to our pitch. We dined in the pub and the food was excellent. Staff friendly and attentive. I had to drive to an event in Amble so couldn’t have a pint on this occasion. Pitches separated partially by bushes which gives a degree of privacy. Facilities slightly dated but clean and tidy. Hope to be back soon.

Non mi è piaciuto Not the sites fault but noisy drunks on the road outside woke us around midnight. Railway was closed for engineering work on our visit so I can imagine noise from passing trains. As a railway enthusiast I can cope with that!

Mi è piaciuto Delightful little site surprisingly close to the city of Armagh. Spotless toilets and showers. Very quiet but my daughter made friends with another child on site and loved it. She’s been asking when we can go back ever since we left.

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing. The road outside is very narrow but that means very little traffic noise.

Mi è piaciuto This is a delightful family run and family orientated site. Everything is immaculately maintained and Katryna came over to welcome us soon after our arrival. Bathrooms are ideal for washing and dressing young children and, being a small site, not too far from your pitch. The site is close to Alnwick to the south and Bamburgh and Seahouses to the north east along with the magnificent Northumberland coast line. My daughter had been studying Grace Darling at school so we headed to the Grace Darling Museum in Bamburgh and had a boat trip to the Farne Islands. We had delicious fish and chips in Seahouses and my daughter has two hours on the soft plat there. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to very stormy weather overnight but have every intention of booking again later in the year when hopefully we will be blessed with fine weather.

Mi è piaciuto We had passed the Green Man in September and liked the idea of staying in our camper van behind a pub. We weren't disappointed. Vic and Shirley were welcoming hosts for whom nothing seemed too much trouble. The site is well maintained with clean modern facilities. We had the place almost to ourselves on our second night which was peaceful. The pub serves good hand pulled real ales and good home cooked food at a reasonable price. We dined there both nights of our stay as well as having breakfast both mornings. It was just what we were looking for and I can thoroughly recommend it for couples like us.
