Mi è piaciuto We are a family of five. We also brought our little Shih Tzu with us. We love the facilities, 3 toilet each for male and female, and likewise with the shower cubicles. The longest queue I had to wait for was 3 minutes. The allocated plot was very spacious, with wooden picnic table that you could borrow. The view was just the breathtaking part of the site. It changes as the day goes by. Sunrise and sunset was just amazing. Staff, well.. I don't know how to start. They were just flawless. One day my van drained it's battery. I had to brave it up and had to ask Richard (one of the great caretakers) if they have a jumper lead. Long and behold! Tom, the superman came. He was very helpful, brought his truck and pulled it in front of my van. Connected the leads and 'voila' it started. He even offered to call them up if my van will do the same outside the camp site, so he can help me. Thankfully, it was fine then. Distance, to 10 minutes drive to Carbis bay and 15 minutes to St Ives town. Brilliant location and distance. Oh, don't forget the Trink Farm. Best fresh milk ever you can get, only 3 minutes drive down the road.

Mi è piaciuto Everything about the place. It's the best camp site for us as family. The scenery is amazing and so breath-taking to watch while having your nice cuppa! Grass is well maintained, daily lawn mowing to make sure all the grass are in even lenght! The toilet and shower areas, are the highlights - it's very clean as they have round-the-clock cleaners, so you may have walked in a dirty toilet and next minute it's sparking clean again. They also have anti-virus spray you can use prior to using the shower room. In addition, numerous toilet and shower rooms - you don't jave to queue up! Leisure, daily food vans available - AM and PM! Fry up and roast meal available, and fresh pizza! And in the evening, live singer will be singing whioe you are having your favourite drink or having your meal. And if you want to stay within your tent, no problem - just hire a firepit for £2 a night and throw in some logs and you can have your own barbecue (you can order some of their barbecue option from the shop) night. They have a massive barn where in you cannolay table tennis, football table, tv to watch your films, shops to buy your basics. Staff, they are amazing and very friendly. Also, they are spot on with their 'no music at 10pm rule' - we got reminded too politely as we did not noticed the time (that's what happens when you are having fun!). But it makes it peaceful after 10pm. People do obviously carry on with their night to dawn activities but it's normal to a camping night! Facilities for dogs, awesome! There as a big secured lawn for dogs to do their business and refillable bowls for dogs to drink. Activities, Perranporth cliff walks are breath-taking, the mining ruins which is only few minutes walk from site, beach (town is the same) is about 20 minutes, leisure park about 10 minutes. And surrounding tourists are just few minutes drive. Newquay and Truro are just 15 minutes away. I am not getting anything in return for writing this long review - but the place is worth it! Defo visiting afajn next year as I and my family can't complain to one bit! Been to few camp sites, which was a bit run down, unhygienic, you can probably get tetanus easily! Kidding aside, thank you for your well thought business and keep thinking on new things or at least maintain what you have been doing.
