Mi è piaciuto We love this campsite. Its 40 mins from home with good local walks and good food options with the Coach and horses only being 10 min walk away and Spread eagle at Sawley a few minutes drive. They try and have a secured field available where possible which we love. The toilet block isn't high end ultra modern but it's heated and I'm of the opinion if it's clean and has hot water and working toilets then it's a winner. They're really spacious pitches too with lovely surroundings.

Mi è piaciuto The views were great as was access to the local village. The facilities were good- everything we needed. We will definitely stay again for more nights next time.

Non mi è piaciuto We couldn't find the recycling which was fine, we brought it home. Worth noting that the local pub informed us they were cash only just for info!!!

Mi è piaciuto Nice little woodland setting just 150m from the Pub which serve great food. Our pitch was great. Very level.

Non mi è piaciuto Couldn't really get hot water at the pot wash but it wasn't the end of the world.

Mi è piaciuto Great facilities. One of our favorite sites. Easy to get to and well maintained pitches. Well run and the dog field is a bonus. A very peaceful place.

Mi è piaciuto The pitch was spacious and flat. Picnic tables were available and it was in a lovely setting.

Non mi è piaciuto Proximity to the road, although it didn't disturb our sleep it was very busy during our stay due to road works.

Mi è piaciuto We booked this as it was one of the few available for the weekend but we were not disappointed. On arrival we couldn't have felt more welcome. Paul (owner) was a great bloke and couldn't do enough. He put his highsided van in front of our neighbours tent to shelter it from the wind whilst they were out. It's a lovely small campsite and no matter where you pitch is, you don't have to walk miles to the facilities. The facilities were clean and had a good stock of toilet roll!!! We never had to queue once. It's really good for access to Market Drayton, Newport and the lovely Iron Bridge. Blist Hill isn't far either and well worth a visit.

Mi è piaciuto Excellent campsite. Good security with a remote barrier. Spacious pitches and a very pretty campsite. Great facilities which were very clean and a great covid system in place. Lovely owners who go out of their way to help. Will definatley visit again. Pub less than half a mile away and easy access to many towns and sights.

Mi è piaciuto The view, and the organisation on arrival was good.

Non mi è piaciuto Temperamental electric hook up. Paid £150 for 4 nights with EHU but unfortunately the electric went off very frequently. Due to the position of the campsite it was impossible to camp due to 50 mph winds. It destroyed our tent (which obviously not the organisers fault) but as we were unable to use our electric heater it was very cold and uncomfortable. Only stayed 2 nights out of the 4. It felt like an expensive trip without any of the added extras.

Mi è piaciuto Great facilities with beautiful views. We stayed for a couple of nights but you could easily stay for longer as there are 2 pubs in the village. The coffee shop on site is well stocked and the lamb pies are delicious.
