Mi è piaciuto Warminghurst is an excellent site close to the South Downs, that caters for tents and camper vans. There are two levels, both offering great views and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The owners are really helpful, it has a friendly atmosphere, and the facilities were amazingly clean, including the composting toilets. The pitches are generous and provided more than enough room for a large tent and tarp. We will definitely be going back.

Mi è piaciuto We liked everything about the site. Easy to access and get to, great pitches, great forest locations, and the site itself is definitely worth an explore. Our children loved it. There are a host of walking routes nearby to explore the area and Standen House is literally just down the track. The team were incredibly friendly and helpful and were around checking we were ok and had enough firewood and water. The site had portaloos in place as well as the composting toilets and all were really clean, with additional cleaning products in place for people to use if they wanted to. There is no wifi, but there is a good mobile signal if you really need to use your phone. This is a great back to basics, wild camping site.

Mi è piaciuto We loved everything about the site. The owners are friendly, gave a great introduction to the site and the area, and gave us lots of hints and tips. They were amazingly helpful when we needed some help with a family issue and needed to use a phone. Location is beautiful being so close to the lake. The description of the site is spot on, in that it is disconnected from everything (no phone signal, wifi etc), but in a positive and healthy way. The site is child safe and children are encouraged to run around and have fun. We were also lucky enough to be able to help feed the lambs! We enjoyed it so much our children have asked to go back again this summer. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking to go to a more remote site for a period of time. However, if you want to head out an do things there are loads to do within 40 minutes. It really makes it a perfect spot.
