Mi è piaciuto What a perfect little gem of a site! Beautiful countryside, very clean and modern facilities which even includes a kitchen with microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine etc. plus sink for washing up. Level pitches with plenty of space, loads of it actually. WiFi included is a real bonus especially if your mobile signal is weak. No problems with EHU either. So lovely and quiet too, spot on for complete relaxation. Oswestry is less than a 10min drive and well worth visiting. To top it all off the site owners are welcoming, friendly and helpful. It's a pity that due to work we can't stay longer but we will definitely return at some point.

Mi è piaciuto An absolute gem with such friendly and helpful staff. Felt right at home straight away. Toilet and shower facilities are first class as is the washing up area and laundry. Each pitch has water supply and hook up. Being close to the M5 I expected a lot of road noise but this was not the case. You can hear it in the background but once inside our motorhome we couldn't or just barely if wind blowing in our direction. Nights were quiet so we always slept well. About a 15 min or less drive into Bridgwater town centre. All in all a very peaceful well run site and if we ever have to be in that area again we would not hesitate to return.

Mi è piaciuto Travelled to this location for a wedding in nearby St Neot. Friendly welcome on arrival at the barrier which you can control from your phone! Beautiful view over the valley and pitch was a generous size. Toilet/shower facilities were clean, very well maintained and a pleasure to use. Would not hesitate in staying there again if we are ever back in that area.

Mi è piaciuto Stayed only one night as part of our Devon road trip but plan to return for a longer stay. Impressed with the organisation and efficient check process plus you can arrive from 11am so you are able to pitch up and still have time to go out and visit Teignmouth and Dawlish. The grass pitches are very well maintained, level and they are really very generous in size. Hard standing pitches are also large and well laid out. Toilets immaculate and plenty of space. On site shop has good selection of everything and surprisingly reasonably priced for an on site shop. Didn't have time to use pool or bar etc but from what I could see these looked great too. If you don't want to drive for days out there's a regular bus between Exeter and Newton Abbot on the main road adjoining the park. Overall this is a large park but well organised and maintained also there's a nice atmosphere there and it's well laid out in terms of facilities and space.

Mi è piaciuto Really enjoyed a short stay at Castle Drake and we will definitely be returning for longer next time. Lovely spacious pitches in beautiful surroundings. Very clean and modern toilet and shower facilities including separate disabled toilet/shower. Everything well maintained and location is good for exploring the Exmouth area.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely location away from main roads. Very peaceful and spacious. Nice views across open countryside. Enough space for children to run and romp about without disturbing anyone. Friendly and welcoming on arrival. Washing machine, fridge freezer, kettle and microwave in the washing up area. Inexpensive even with electric hook up.

Non mi è piaciuto Toilets/shower block is clean but really basic and shabby. Only 1 shower in the ladies which is linked to a toilet cubicle so if someone is using that toilet you can't get into the shower. Toilet cubicles are very small. Having said that, there is always ample hand soap and paper and for what you pay for a pitch here it's more than adequate if a tad 'rustic' and has not put us off returning.

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely beautifully kept grounds and surroundings. Toilets and showers are immaculate. Private wash cubilcles too and plenty of room in the shower with hangers, seat, caddy for gel and shampoo. Free hairdryer. Lovely wash up area. Good little shop selling basics and treats. Very quiet except for church bells which didn't bother us in the least. Very convenient for walk into Cheddar village or bus stop to further afield. Pretty much the perfect site.

Mi è piaciuto Quietness. Friendly welcome. Level field. Asked if we could upgrade to an EHU and no problem at all, we just paid the extra £6. Fishing lakes beautiful and peaceful to sit by or stroll around if you are not fishing. Budget priced for peak season. There is a games hut with table football, board games, magazines and DVDs. Self serve shop stocks mainly fishing needs but also has a selection of cold drinks, chocolate bars and crisps at reasonable prices.

Non mi è piaciuto Toilet and washing facilities are clean but very basic and situated in the lake area which adjoins the camping field through a hedged pathway. One wooden hut houses 2 wc's and 1 shower each for ladies and gents and a further pine shed has a unisex WC and a shower room. Unfortunately I tried to use the shower in the shed but could not get it to work or the light and extractor fan to work. Looked everywhere for a cord or a switch or instructions and found none so used shower in the hut instead. Not sure if we were just unlucky or time of year or it's normal for this site but there were lots of flies and wasps around, many more than is usual when we've been camping, couldn't eat outside because of them and as soon as we opened a door or window they flew in before we could get the screens across.
