Mi è piaciuto Very good location with the village only a few minutes down the road. Shower/toilet facilities very nice and clean. Reception staff lovely, I hadn't received the email and they were really nice and helpful! Very few midges / bugs which was a nice comparison to some of the other areas we'd been staying at. Also had lots of ducks just wandering around the site which was nice to see. Whilst we don't have children, there was a little play park on site which I think is a nice touch.

Non mi è piaciuto Allocated a set pitch - I can understand why this may be done from the owners perspective but meant we couldn't choose somewhere and we ended up near really noisy groups. Supposed to be quiet hours after 11pm, absolute quiet after 12am but several groups around us were still being extremely loud outside their tents until meaely 1am. One person decided to empty their glass recycling at about 11:30pm several times. Another group further away were singing very loudly. The campers in the pitch next to us didn't arrive until around 10:00pm-10:30pm. Just lots of different noises constantly happening which meant we didn't get a good night's sleep on our final night. Not much the site can do if people aren't respecting the rules but maybe they could have different areas for different types of campers? Also, the view of River Tay could only be accessed by what seemed like long-term seasonal pitches of caravans and we couldn't get to it without going into their space so we missed out there.

Mi è piaciuto Amazing campsite - probably the best we've ever stayed in. The views from the site are amazing, you really are just at the foot of Ben Nevis and it was so atmospheric. Lots of different pitches available so you can find somewhere that suits you. The facilities were outstanding, super clean and central. Even had free devices charging (although was often full) and the odd plug socket here and there. Signal and 4G was super good. Everyone was super respectful of the quiet hours which was nice, can be hard for a campsite to enforce 24/7 but there was no need here as everyone just got it.

Mi è piaciuto Small campsite but still plenty of room for different campers. Gates were always open so could come and go as we pleased. Emailed the owner with a query and they responded almost instantly which was great. Outdoor sink for washing up and even had soap and scrubber which was a nice touch. A great circular walking route that runs just behind the site and has a water feature which was a great nighttime activity after food! We even saw some bats on the site which was amazing.

Non mi è piaciuto Not a dislike, just something for others to bear in mind - the toilets didn't have a working light so just take a torch with you on a night (or leave the door open slightly for natural light like I did 😆).
