Mi è piaciuto Location is perfect, in between Kendal and Windermere. The sunset views were amazing! Only about 10 minutes in the car from Windemere where we like to go for a walk up Orrest head with the kids and we’re able to pick up some extra food from the shops. It is a back to basics campsite so there are only portaloos (these were cleaned every morning and night) and a washing up point (only produces cold water), make sure you take lots of water for drinking and cooking. There is a skip where you can discard of your rubbish too. We took our two children and had a lovely screen free weekend enjoying the Lake District! Our children loved seeing the alpacas and sheep in the fields next to the site.

Non mi è piaciuto You could hear a main road at night, we did read this on a previous review but it wasn’t so distracting that we couldn’t sleep.
