Mi è piaciuto Lovely campsite for a relaxing holiday. Not to many people on site and a large area for the kids to play. Some great facilities with toilets and showers etc. If staying with children take plenty to keep them entertained as stated there is just a field and nothing else for them onsite which wasn't a problem for us as we took games etc and they also joined up with others staying on site too to play games. Definitely book a fire pit as we had a great time roasting marshmallows and sitting round it in the evening on the cooler nights. The cows do like to wake you up in the morning but other than that it was quite peaceful. Within walking distance there is pub, a small shop which has a good supply of any basics or food needs. All the staff were very friendly and helpful in pointing out local things to do when we had rainy days. There is also a bus stop for day trips out in Blackpool or the local area if you don't want to drive. We would definitely visit again and recommend to others.

Non mi è piaciuto There was no dislike of the campsite as it was just as advertised and a lovely place to visit. Just something to make the stay easier, I would recommend taking heavy duty hard ground pegs for pitching your tent as we found the ground to be quite rocky in pitch 12 and would have struggled with normal tent pegs. One recommendation, It would have been good to have access to a floor squeegee/mop to clean the shower floors between use in the daytime as we did find that sometimes it was very wet ( and muddy as we had some rain) in the changing area of the shower cubicles so would of been great to dry that before using but again this was not a major problem as every morning the facilities were clean and spotless.
