Mi è piaciuto What can I say. From beginning to end our stay was incredible. Travelling alone with my daughter can be hard sometimes but this site made it a breeze. Friendly receptionist who was extremely kind and helpful, grounds team all chatty and very friendly. Big thanks to Chrissie for the marshmallow toasting sticks! She went out of her way to find us some, and she had to hunt for them! She actually brought them up to our motorhome! Then as I was taking my rubbish down to the bins, a staff member took it from me and took it to the bins for me! The gardener let me know he was planning on cutting the grass to make sure the dogs were ok. We chatted he was a gem too. There’s a cafe that serves and banging breakfast, a massive play barn. It was so quiet as it’s off season which we loved. Marwell is our No1 site to head to now. Especially because it’s the only site in Hampshire that does electric hookup and fires at the same time.

Mi è piaciuto Checked in at the hotel before heading down the road to the site…… Absolutely stunning site. We didn’t use the facilities as we had a motorhome but location wise I couldn’t have chose anywhere better. We had a river running directly behind our pitch. My dog loved having a swim. The sound of the river was so soothing. We wouldn’t definitely come back!

Mi è piaciuto Second time coming here. Came on my own previously, then bought my daughter and 2 dogs back this time as I liked it so much. Beautiful site with lovely willow trees swaying in the wind. The receptionist remembered me and a lovely kind man showed me to my pitch and let me choose the best one as it wasn’t that busy. We chatted about our dogs, He’s a lovely guy. Toilet block was immaculate in the morning but we showered in our motorhome so I can’t comment on many facilities. I always travel weekdays so it’s always quiet there. This is definitely one of the sites on my ‘go to’ list….. There is an area where no-one seems to camp so I assume that it’s just a large play area and a lovely place to walk the dogs. There’s also a small trail to walk round. It takes about 3 minutes to walk round but it breaks up the scenery for the dogs to have a sniff about…

Non mi è piaciuto Did have a strange interaction with a staff member that I’d never met before. I usually hang my autistic daughters fabric swing on the tree every site I go to, but I was approached by a lady who said I can’t hang it on the tree? It doesn’t do any damage and helps my daughter regulates herself on trips so she was pretty upset that we couldn’t hang it up. However the staff member was very polite in how she approached us and wasn’t rude in anyway. I appreciated that part. I don’t comment of the behaviour of other campers as that’s not the fault of any campsites I don’t think. But so far, we’ve had great neighbours everytime we’ve been here!
