Mi è piaciuto Location: Direct access to the lake with restaurants, cafes, paddleboard hire. Just a short stroll along the beach path are further beautiful restaurants, ice cream shops and market gift stalls. Also a 5 min drive from Lidl or 7 mins to Aldi. Lake: lovely and warm in August. Campsite: Lovely large pitches, toilets and showers were clean. Pretty quiet and relaxed in the evenings unless the entertainment is on at nearby hotels, but this finishes about 11 so not too bad. We went to Sirmione, go early arrive by 9am and park just outside - there is a shuttle bus to take you to and from the centre. By 1:30pm it was really busy and really hot so we left then. Verona isn’t far and is a beautiful day trip - again go early for parking and to beat the crowds. I would recommend getting a Verona Card if you are going into all the major sights as it works out a lot cheaper .

Non mi è piaciuto No toilet paper/hand towels in the loos was a bit of a pain, remember to take your own. Bins are pretty fair away if you are on the lake side pitch, would be nice to have bins on both sections. We had a family decide to let their children play football right outside our tent - with a huge goalpost. The ball ended up in/against our tent multiple times but they continued even after asking them to stop. I had to complain in the end at reception when the ball landed in my dinner - they were quick to come along as there is a no ball rule around tent/cars apparently but there are no signs to say this so campsite rules could be made clearer for everyone’s comfort.
