Mi è piaciuto This is a very charming camp site. Only enough space for 4 camping plots without electric hookup but was perfect for our 5 man tent. This was booked as myself with my two sons for a fishing trip away. The scenery of the lake was outstanding and the cows in the field made this a fun trip to this working farm. The toilet and shower facilities where perfectly clean and perfect for the 4 tents pitched. The added bonus of the cabin where you could use the fridge and freezer, Kettle snd microwave was a real bonus. Perfect washing up facilities. Parking was fine and it was great it was not next to the tents. Made it feel more remote. Personally I like birds and spotted over 17 varieties and a deer joined us one evening. While fishing in the evening bays flew around us. It is a very tranquil and relaxing place. The town is a mere 10 minutes walk away up an hill and has a wonderful pub. The landlord was fabulous and the food was really outstanding worth a visit.

Non mi è piaciuto We booked this as a fishing weekend. I am afraid my negative comments come now and it’s only related to the fishing lake. We fished for two days and caught nothing. I only actually saw 1 carp both days. My personal opinion is that this lake had not been stocked with fish for quite sometime. The pontoons for fishing on are a little dangerous, as the wooden planks are rotting. The lake also had too much weed in it. It’s such a beautiful place I have hated to leave this feedback but course fishing here is currently not worth it.
