Mi è piaciuto The campsite was lovely, quiet and very clean. I was travelling with two 10-year-old girls and I felt completely safe letting them move around the campsite on their own. Angelica at reception was incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. Overall, the people were very nice, with the exception of a couple of staff members at the restaurant who seemed a little grumpy. The toilets and facilities were always very clean, the rubbish was collected every day, and the campsite was generally very well maintained. The location itself is beautiful, with magnificent views over the reservoir. It is a really peaceful and very pretty place to stay.

Non mi è piaciuto The main thing I disliked was that, when we booked, we were under the impression that the campsite had direct access to a beach. It doesn’t. The water is definitely very close, but you still need to leave the campsite and walk there. This was particularly important for us as I was travelling with two children. I had imagined being able to stay at the campsite cooking or relaxing while they went to have some fun , but that isn’t possible. Also, what is described as a beach isn’t really a beach. It is a reservoir and the main access to the water is a concrete area that look like the ones used for boats. In August the concrete gets extremely hot, so it isn’t particularly nice for sitting or spending a long time there. The water itself is great and warm, though, and if you walk a little further along the reservoir you can find much nicer and more natural places to swim. The other thing that wasn’t so nice was the condition of the kids area. No shade at all and some parts seems to be lose .
