Mi è piaciuto Fiona was so helpful and welcoming, we were kindly allowed the pitch overlooking the field with a view of the landscape, and it was beautiful and felt quite private! The farm has good vibes. Wheelbarrows are provided but it’s only a short walk to the pitch. Facilities were perfect and clean. It was our favourite site of the four we visited on our road trip, I would definitely stay again!

Mi è piaciuto You can see how much care and attention that Luke and his family have put into making it a beautiful and welcoming family-friendly site. The showers are clean and the compost toilets emptied regularly. Easy to use and instructions provided, it was our first time using them but it was fine! The communal kitchen area is awesome - Beautiful views of the forest from there, lots of seating and loved the little nature ID cards. We were very grateful to have a shaded plot for our tent after a fair few days in the sun at other sites. A wheelbarrow was provided so we could move our stuff to and from the car parking area (walk to site is only about a minute or two walk) Nice and easy drive into Exeter from here

Mi è piaciuto We loved the view, how spacious the field was, and seeing the neighbouring cows. The walk to St Nectan’s Glen is divine, across a turnstile, field, through a gate and through the forest, beautiful! The stars were incredible from this location too, better than I have ever seen them in the UK. Clean facilities and Sally was welcoming and helpful. (make sure to bring multiple 50ps as showers are 2x50p a use)

Non mi è piaciuto It was very windy/a bit unsheltered for us on the night we stayed as we were in a tent but it did the job for a cheap night stay in Cornwall (sleeping in the car is a good backup though!). Definitely perfect if you have a campervan or windbreaks. We only stayed one night so it might not be like this all the time!

Mi è piaciuto We loved how spacious the site was, we parked down the bottom left corner and it felt nicely a bit private. Beautiful views from the top of the campsite. Clean showers and toilets that worked well. We liked how everything is signposted and labelled, so you know exactly where to go, and what is where. Lyme Regis Park and Ride is less than a 5min drive away (only £3.50 for an adult return!), and a big Tesco only a 10min drive away. Useful having multiple plug sockets, and a fridge freezer. It felt safe to leave our stuff in the shed where this was. Winston provided all information via email upon booking which came in useful for finding the site, and we met Nigel onsite when he collected our payment and gave us an info sheet, he was friendly, helpful and happy to answer any questions. This two night stay started off our road trip very nicely!
