Mi è piaciuto We have stayed twice this year in the quiet field. Individual portable bathrooms are well equipped and heating if needed. They were always clean when we used them. The pool, entertainment and location were all great.

Mi è piaciuto The pitches were spacious and services excellent. Good live entertainment. There is a lovely costal walk. The playground is spacious and open, so easy to keep and eye on the children. Fish and chips were very good.

Non mi è piaciuto We stayed for 4 nights, it was cold and there was no heating in the main or family bathrooms. The baby changing units need a deep clean. Additionally, the visitors using the bathrooms were leaving the 2 main doors open, so those wanting to have a shower were left shivering (also due to lack of heating). I was unable to wash a baby because it was too cold.

Mi è piaciuto The distance to the facilities was not an issue, it was the lack of them and lack of ventilation for those of us who do not have strong stomachs.

Non mi è piaciuto We read the reviews, but still went with an open mind. I am afraid to say the negative reviews are spot on. In a nutshell there are NOWHERE NEAR ENOUGH TOILETS for the amount on people hemmed into this site. Kelham management, please address this and you may receive better reviews! Try visiting another site and get some ideas. We have been camping/touring for 10 years, for a site claiming to offer toilets, I would say this was a unique experience.

Mi è piaciuto We enjoyed our few days here as the location was peaceful. The people running it are friendly and helpful. We would return if there was no other availability in the area.

Non mi è piaciuto However, for the price, I would expect much improved facilities. There is one male, one female toilet and one shower. The female toilet did not have hot water, could have done with a bleach sluice once a day, hand dryer and it looked like the same hand towel was in there for the duration of our stay. We did not use! There was a pot washing area available in the stables, but I think it would have been unwise to use due to the lack of hygiene in this area. On arrival, it would have been helpful if someone could have been there to let us know where to pitch instead of waiting an hour (for no-one to show up) and then we made the decision to pitch where we thought best!

Dal gestore: We thought this review was a little harsh. we are always around to welcome people between the designated arrival times. As this is a very small site( with a maximum of 5 pitches) we do only have 2 toilets and 1 shower room. The toilets and shower room are cleaned each day during the camping season. We take on board that the hot water in the ladies toilet was not working. We are replacing this water heater.
