Mi è piaciuto Everything! This is a great campsite, the location is fantastic, the facilities are cleaned and restocked everyday. The farmer is really friendly and takes time to check in with people and stop for a chat. There's direct access onto the footpath which is part of the Dalesway, you can also walk along the river to Appletreewick as well and there's a great pub called the craven arms, its about 2 miles away so not too far. The only thing is the reception is poor, but it was great to switch off from technology for a few days! We'll definitely be visiting again next year for a weekend or 2!

Mi è piaciuto Great location great views of pen-y-ghent. Train line runs next to the site but wasn't that noticable and my daughter loved seeing them. A very chilled out site and facilities are good. You can choose where you pitch and there's plenty of space across a couple of fields. Main facilities and showers are at the farm but there are a few cabin toilets dotted around down the other fields with a simple wash up sink. All are cleaned and topped up daily. You can park your car on your pitch which is great, unless you want to camp in the small field with picnic benches, no cars are allowed on this section. Not too far to walk to the nearest pub, can easily be done within half an hour. Dog friendly and child friendly (my daughter is 14 months old and this was her 1st camping trip)
