Mi è piaciuto Ideal family site but really not for couples. Just returned from a couple of nights and had mixed experiences, which shouldn't necessarily deter others from booking. The location is ideal, midway between Llandudno and Conwy, with a bus stop right outside the site entrance. Being free to choose your own pitch, we found a lovely, sunny spot on the rear field. Facilities were simple but spotlessly clean, with nice hot showers and the site in general was very neat and tidy. On our fist night we supported the site by enjoying one of their lovely pizzas (highly recommended) and a couple of drinks at the pop-up bar. The second night was like being in the wild west. Neighbouring campers thought it OK to let the kids run wild, screaming, shouting and shining torches into other campers and tents past midnight. A "conversation" with them stopped it for while, only to start again later and with the extreme dry weather and sheer number of tents on site, it was surprising to see fire pits still being rented out to "merry" guests at 9.30pm, who kept them burning well into the night. While it was great to see kids playing and having fun away from TV's, phones and tablets, site rules on noise and music after 10pm could do with being controlled and while no one wants a Caravan Club style warden in a hi-viz complaining about everything you do, some control over the site and it's guests wouldn't go amiss.

Mi è piaciuto Just returned from a short stay at Ty Ni and it won't be the last. Booked just the day before arrival and having escaped a somewhat "lively" site the 2 nights prior, this was heaven. The remote location and peace was perfect and the views from the pitch spectacular. Carolyn and Dilwyn were great hosts and work hard to make this place what it is. Facilities are simple, but spotlessly clean and with lovely hot showers you couldn't wish for more. The little bar and shop added to the experience and it was the perfect end to the day, watching the eclipse (poor as it was) with other guests, pint in hand. No music, no kids, just like minded folk having a well earned break. Thank you, Steve & Netty.

Mi è piaciuto First time here and wont be the last. Initially booked for just one night but the location and weather meant we stayed for 2. A superb pitch overlooking the North Shore, West Shore and Great Orme, meant we could open the rear doors and view all this while still in bed! Owner Paul and his family were very welcoming and with space limited to just 3 pitches there was none of the usual hustle and bustle experienced on many of the larger, formal campsites. If you read what Tan Yr Allt Hall has to offer, and more importantly what it doesn't, then you wont be disappointed. A 15 minute walk down the hill takes you onto the sea front with the pier just a short stroll along the promenade. If you're feeling more adventurous then a 45 minute walk following your phones satnav takes you to the more secluded West shore beach. There are plenty of local shops nearby, including a Co-op and a few takeaways just back from the main seafront and en-route back to the site after a day out. The main town centre with pubs, amusements and a large shopping centre are also just a 30 minute walk away. With easy access from the A55 or via the scenic route from Colwyn Bay this site is ideal for couples wanting a no frills escape where you are free to do your own thing at your own pace.

Mi è piaciuto Spotlessly clean site and facilities with wonderful sea views from the campervan rear doors. A warm welcome on arrival and very helpful staff thank you. Never got the chance to explore as arrived late afternoon (with rain) and departed early but a great stop off on our tour of Wales.

Non mi è piaciuto As mentioned by others, the entrance road is not for the feint hearted or those with a bigger unit but we managed ok. We clung to the tails of the Royal Mail truck when leaving and he was stopping for no one!

Yes the access lanes get a little overgrown very quickly, as there is 2 miles of lane we have difficulty with just manpower and a strimmer, we await the local authority to help us out, we know how that goes ! we have booked a cut from a private contractor who is still busy cutting other mis managed lanes and roadways but all will be nice very soon. We have not had the pleasure of meeting the royal mail man in the opposite direction and hope not to !

Mi è piaciuto Just enjoyed our second stay at this lovely park which was even better than last time. The newly surfaced hard standing pitches are excellent and the inclusion of illuminated power, water and grey waste on each pitch was superb. Each pitch overlooks the lake and if required, the toilet block with it's spotlessly clean toilets, sinks and showers is close by. Located on the outskirts of town, we walked the 2.3 miles into town, mooched around and walked back without a problem, albeit helped by the nice weather and 3 pub stops en-route. There are no kids facilities on site, which for most is probably a bonus, but if you like a bit more to do of an evening, the larger Southview Park is a short walk away and we have used the bars and restaurants without being challenged. With helpful staff, excellent rates and a peaceful setting Roach Farm Park is highly recommended.
