Mi è piaciuto This site 'does exactly what it says on the tin'. Its an honest non electric, grass and earth, tent pitch campsite. If you are happy with reasonably priced, wild camping with just a touch of luxury in the shape of sensible, clean, composting toilets and a lovely hot shower then this is for you. Becky and Tony are the friendliest, kindest, most generous hosts. They live on site during the season - it is a working farm- and are there to advise if required. We found ourselves in difficulties during our stay and they couldn't do enough for us - for which we are so very grateful - and made sure that we were able to continue our holiday. The site has not only the farm animals that live there, but also a range of wonderful wildlife - plant, animal, insect and bird. There's a great pub that does lovely food, 5 minutes drive away, but the site is quiet and small, off the main road, but close enough to amenities in Cowes and Newport (10 minutes drive) to be convenient. Yes, the ground is a touch uneven. Yes, its a farm, so there is the odd piece of machinery around. No, there isnt a clubhouse, shop or entertainment (thank the lord for that!). But the positives FAR outweigh the negatives. Now I hope I havent recommended it so highly that it is busy next time we visit - because we definitely will. Thank you Becky and Tony for an amazing stay.
