Mi è piaciuto Absolutely stunning site. Massive clean pitches, lovely walled camping area, lovely walks through the gardens. It says on the description no on site toilet or showers but there are 2 of each so don’t let that put you off. Yes it’s £32 a night but I think it’s worth it.

Mi è piaciuto Everything. Lovely quiet and relaxing. Lovely views Central to the coast and Inverness and the historic culloden. Lovely clean sight with 2 toilet and shower block, also accessible needs sowers/ toilet. I have to say I’ve been camping/motor-homing for years and these are the best showers I’ve come across. Really enjoyed our stay. The man who rubs the site, very welcoming.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely friendly staff. Pub looked very inviting but we didn’t use in the end. Quite basic but that’s fine we were only there one night. Lots of reviews about train noise but it really wasn’t that bad I didn’t use the shower or toilet as I used our own so cannot comment on those.

Non mi è piaciuto The only thing was having to put the electric on a card don’t get that when you could charge extra for electric.

Mi è piaciuto Nice quiet site lovely Mountain View’s. Animals in tn site highland sheep which are beautiful. Very helpful owner. Didn’t use the showers or toilet as used my onboard ones.

Mi è piaciuto The pitches were fantastic. Clean and well maintained. With your own electric and water. In a nice area close to the beach and a couple bars and chippy The on-site entertainment looked good but we didn’t go and see any. Staff on reception very friendly.

Non mi è piaciuto Elsan point was out of order, there was a place in the men’s toilet to empty but you couldn’t clean it Swimming slots were few and far between and it wasn’t even busy. Wasn’t anywhere for kids to football etc. So as what’s seems the norm they play football in the touring area. Not the worse park Dean but not the best. Wi-Fi hard to connect to

Mi è piaciuto Nice looking pool and bar on site. Toilets were very clean and showers too. Supermarket and petrol station just over the road which was ideal. Pitches were fine.

Non mi è piaciuto Only thing really was I seemed to have lost my deposit. I was charge the full sack with the lady saying the drlii look sit goes to pitch up. I know it doesn’t but couldn’t be bothered to argue. I’ve message pitch up about this soo ok we will see.

Mi è piaciuto The site was lovely friendly and helpful lady in reception. Very clean showers and toilets decent size pitches ours had a fantastic view of the mountains. Small on site shop was ok. Walk in to Lourdes was about 30 minutes which was fantastic

Mi è piaciuto The receptionist was very polite and spoke very good english yo my rubbish french. The pitches were under trees which I really liked The showers/toilets were nice and quite a few of them. Kids said pool was nice. The surrounding area is lovely. It’s next to a river and a short walk into town.

Non mi è piaciuto Wouldn’t say disliked but it looks a bit run down in places. There’s a lot of overgrown weeds and junk about. The bar although open wasn’t very appealing and the on-site shop didn’t have much in it. The taps on the pitches don’t work so you have to go find the main tap. I think maybe they are in the process of doing it up so hopefully next visit it should have improved.

Mi è piaciuto A really nice chap greeted us and was very welcoming. Explain everything that was on the campsite. Very clean toilet/showers etc. I didn’t use the pool but the kids said it was fantastic. The pitches were lovely and spacious. . A little shop on site selling basics.

Mi è piaciuto Nice little site with owners pub next door. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. We also had food one night of our stay and it was delicious and a huge portion for a reasonable price. Very dog friendly too. There’s also a small playground on the pub grounds for young children. All in all it was an enjoyable stay. The views were beautiful and a lovely walk round the reservoir was not too far away. There’s a washing up area room with a seating area and table which would be good for kids to play board games etc in.

Non mi è piaciuto The only 2 things were there’s only one shower and the pitch advertised was for a fully serviced with which it wasn’t and that was the reason I booked it. But like I say we still enjoyed our stay. Other reviews say about the traffic noise we didn’t find this a problem as it was quiet at night.

Non mi è piaciuto Where to start. Very rude and abrupt staff/manager. Told me by phone as no reception I was in pod number 3 but as we got settled said we were in the wrong pod and blamed me !!! Would not take responsibility for his error. Only two toilets on site and they were in with the showers so if someone’s having a shower you’re going to have to wait. Told to park in the gravel car park at the bottom , which was fine but others had parked next to our pod, and in the morning someone parked right outside ours loading their car waking us up. Should be the same rule for all. Message them late afternoon but before 6 to see if the gates stayed open at night as we would be out till late, but they didn’t bother to reply so had to chance it. Fire pit I’d say was dangerous as ours was still going from the previous people. Could be dangerous to children or adults who don’t realise they’re still hot. Also as the pods are quite close together next doors fire pit smell was coming into our pod. Don’t expect “glamping” as it’s not at all. The only bonus is you don’t have to pack your tent away. Quite expensive for what you get. Misleading description on the site as to the size of pod think it now means your whole camping area not the pitch it self. Also pricing says from from £45 for two we were charged £55 for two not sure why.

Mi è piaciuto Pitch size was very good. The pitch was also clean. We were at first given another pitch but as it had had a thunderstorm it was water logged but they let us pick a diffrent one without any problems. Lots to do on site, swimming, pub club arcade. Good walk area for dogs and a park if you have younger children. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Non mi è piaciuto There were quite a few campers who were exceeding the 10mph speed limit, not Soley the sites fault but road jumps woukd have rectified this as it was quite dangerous with little kids running about The toilet block was in a hood position but could do with modernising. Showers arnt adjustable so if you are short than 5ft 7 you’re going to have a problem. They were also either freezing or boiling no in between.

Mi è piaciuto This is our 3rd time staying here and again it didn’t disappoint. We are not sure if it’s changed hands as when we arrived we were given an electric card which had £2.50 on. I didn’t think it would be enough for 2 nights but it was. The site is quiet and the pitches brilliant the showers are lovely and warm, although a little outdated. The club house was nice and staff members friendly and helpful. Prices quite reasonable too. This site is well situated to visit varies place including esholt village the old filming location of Emmerdale. With the original wool pack. All in all it’s a site I would always come back too.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely place. Greeted by a lovely chap in a buggy. Gave us lots of choice where to pitch up went through everything and left us to it. Clean toilet and showers. Designated dog walking area which was good and plenty of open space.
