Mi è piaciuto This is a lovely little site in an idyllic location with a fantastic view and a beautiful local area, stargazing at night was just amazing too. Based in the middle of the commons this site is pure peace with very little traffic, very little noise and very few passers by. Just sheep and lovely views.Absolutely lovely. Visits from resident dog Tess added to the enjoyment, our dogs loved saying hello and she's just a little sweetheart. Site was gravel and grass, with large pitches, hookup, water on your pitch, and a chemical waste disposal point with refuse bins/recycling. The owners say hello on arrival, then leave you to it unless you need them which adds to the peace and quiet. It's a lovely drive to the site, and the drive from A66 should be no problem for vans, motorhomes and towing vehicles. Be sure to take the scenic route, its really a lovely place to pull over and enjoy the scenery. We recommend visiting oddfellows in caldbeck during your visit for food or a drink, short drive away, or walk if you feel like a longer stroll, but the food is very worth it. We will absolutely be back to horburn farm. We loved every minute! Thank you for a lovely stay.
