Mi è piaciuto Beautiful site! Spotlessly clean with modern showers and toilets. Great communication and secure entrance/exit system. Short walk into the village of Osbaldwick, where there's a local pub, cafe (closes at 3pm) and chip shop (open Thursday to Saturday) Number 6 bus takes you straight into York centre for £3 - great for seeing the sights and exploring York itself. Owner Bridget extremely welcoming and helpful during our stay. Thankyou!! Will definitely return here!

Mi è piaciuto Really enjoyed our stay here! Friendly and welcoming host, allowed to pitch where we wanted and a great pub on your doorstep. Honesty shop a great bonus, as was the takeaway pizza van. Unfortunatly for us they sold out and had to close early. Fantastic walks and scenery nearby - will definitely return!

Mi è piaciuto Really enjoyed our stay here! Easy to find and able to pick your own pitch on arrival. Toilet facilities were the best we've ever had! Lovely and clean and never any queuing. Litton was a 23 minute walk away and Tideswell took us 53 minutes. Both lovely villages. Cafe on the main road too - we didn't eat here, but the menu looked good and they're open for breakfast daily from 8am till 3pm, which is worth knowing. Nothing else nearby - you are literally in the true countryside! Waking up surrounded by animals in the adjacent fields was so lovely - we will definitely be coming back here!!

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely loved our stay here! Easy to find, stunning scenery, great location. A short walk to a lovely farm shop and a slightly longer walk into Castleton Village. Village was so pretty - had cafes, pubs, coffee shops, bakery and even a fish and chip shop. Campsite seemed to transform at night. Lots of camp fires dotted around, people respectful and just an overall great vibe. Clear instructions from the owner too - will definitely return!

Mi è piaciuto Really nice site with beautiful surroundings. Loved the animals in adjacent fields and tractors going about their daily business - authentic countryside feel. Can pitch anywhere, which was great. Its a big field, probably would fit more, but kept to a miminum to avoid over crowding, which I keep hearing a lot about with other sites. 20 minute walk into Litton, then another 20 minutes walk from Litton into Tideswell - which is well worth a visit! Stunning campsite overall, with clean toilets and cold water taps. Great morning views, will definitely return!

Mi è piaciuto Spacious pitches with some great walking trails. Actually walked it to Hardcastle Crags. Hebden Bridge 20 mins walk away. Heptonstall village - so pretty, with 2 lovely pubs. Clean site, basic - portable toilet and a tap for water - was good enough for us. Plus a bin to dispose of rubbish. Friendly farmer. Will definitely stay here again.

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing - although we did get slightly lost. I would recommend not driving through the cobbled village - take the turn after!
